That closet cubby hole would not be used for storage in my house haha. My girls would be tuning that into a secret hideaway for candy stashes and Barbies lol. Love the new home and excited for your channel!!
Hahaha🤣 My thoughts exactly! We actually don’t use it for storage because there was no way I couldn’t turn it into something cool for the kids lol! Thank you so much!! I appreciate it!!😄♥️
Thanks for making this video. I was concerned about the one car garage (still concerned with all that snow) but this hosue has way more storage, a front hall closet and a mudd room! Our previous military housing didn't have any of that so now I'm excited!
So glad it was helpful to you!!🥰 I wish they were two car garages!! It hasn’t been too bad for my husband tho having the 2nd car outside if that makes you feel better!😄
Thank you!! Omg yes I am!! Haha😂😂 The only drawback is that they are closer to the ceiling so a lot of my stuff was too tall to go up there lol. But I’m happy some fit up there at least!😄
You mean like supernatural stuff? We unfortunately are no longer there anymore but we lived in older housing as well before the house in this video and we never experienced anything like that in either of the houses😄
Hi there!! I want to say I had a friend in the cougar floor plan, and if so it was super similar, but I’m not 100% sure if that’s what it was called or not! I wish the housing website for Fort Drum had more info on all of their houses cuz it’s definitely lacking lol
@@marieerobertss Thank you so much for replying! I laughed when she said the name. Maybe I heard it wrong. I love your videos! They really show the reality of military life! I wish you were still at Drum! Good luck at your new place! We were at Drum our last duty so I already know people & have a job when I want it. First time ever moving where I already have friends! 🙌
Hahaha🤣 Yeah, sometimes they choose the strangest names for housing floor plans lol. Awe thank you so much!!! I really appreciate that🤗♥️ Ugh I wish I was still at Fort Drum too! I loved being there so much! That’s so amazing! It definitely makes moving somewhere SO much easier when you already have connections♥️
I love the new house. I can't wait for us to be able to upgrade. If you don't mind letting me know how long did it take for you to get a new house? Also what community is this?
Marie Roberts that's not bad. Is his rank higher than e4? Not trying to be personal lol we're at drum too is why I'm asking all the questions lol. You can private message me if you'd like
Hiii, thanks for the video! We’ll be heading to drum in the next month just waiting on the official orders to get on the housing wait list! Could you tell me what floor plan this is, it looks like spruce.. right?
Hello! We will there next month and I am really worried about the climate. Since we are moving from fort bliss I don' know very well when is the correct time during the travel to star wearing Winter clothes. Like all the snowsuit and everything. We are going by ✈️ Any tips? Thank you
Hi there!! I would definitely bring some sweatshirts that are easily accessible to you while on the plane. And then when you arrive have some coats that you can easily grab out of your suitcase! Since you'll just be outside for the little bit from the airport to a car i don't think you'll need to many cold weather items for that! But definitely have them ready for some snow fun for when you arrive! It's supposed to be pretty snowy this year!
@@marieerobertss I'm not in the army or a spouse of one. I do follow and watch the different fort on youtube videos. I'm also an Army west point fan and lived in the hudson valley most of my life. I agree with you about layering yourself with warm clothing.
I lived in Hudson valley, NY most of my life. Get long john's, hats, gloves, boots, and a few scarf's as well. North End jackets are bit expensive but really comfortable for winter months and plenty of pockets. Wear sweatpants and sweatshirt on the plane it will be comfortable there and when you get off. Travel the state it's beautiful. I've been to Canada go to Montreal, Quebec City & Ottawa you can do all three cities in a week.Take the train from and to those three cities NY is totally different state then Texas
@@marieerobertss so I read spruce for plans and cougar floor plans were for E4-E6 I think you said this was spruce I’m sorry!! I’m so confused by their housing website 🤦🏽♀️
we are about to pcs to fort drum i have looked at your other videos was this a first or second house for you at drum i only ask because on the other video the thumbnail was a different house and i was confused as to which floor plan was which
This was our second house there! We lived in a JENL house in the Mounument Ridge neighborhood and then this house was a JNCO house in the Crescent Woods neighborhood! So I have two different empty house tours and two different furnished house tours haha.
@@tawneeleo6553 no problem!! We really liked living in Crescent Woods!! Monument Ridge was nice too but we were in the older housing area in that neighborhood so kinda hard to compare to the newer housing in Crescent haha. Although if we had to choose older housing in either neighborhood I’d probably still choose Crescent Woods cuz I really liked the area we were in! Quick to the main gate and to the commissary!😄
Hi what community do you recomend to live on post for a JENL for a family of 4 would you do a Video about cursing on the neighborhoods so will have and idea of how it looks really appreciated.
Hey!! So I’m not 100% sure on what neighborhoods that qualifies for, I *think* possibly just Monument Ridge, Adirondack and Rhicard Hills...but I’m not positive! Monument Ridge and Adirondack are closest to the main things on post like the Commissary and PX, and Rhicard Hills is more secluded. So it kinda depends on preference! I plan on doing a post tour very soon!!♥️
We really enjoy it here! We’ve been through 2 winters now and I honestly haven’t really thought it’s as bad as everyone makes it out to be haha. We’ve actually talked about making this area home once my husband retires😄 Awe thank you so much! I’m so glad you’re here!
I only have a Kindergartner but we’ve had a great experience with the school! I highly recommend asking for a house in the Indian River District but honestly I’ve seen great things about all the schools here😄

You’re welcome!! Make sure you check out my other Fort Drum videos then as well! I’ll also be uploading some more in the near future!😄♥️
Your house is awesome! Were headed to Drum in Jan, hoping for a home in crescent woods!! Do y'all like it there?!

We love it!!😄♥️
I’m not sure if you would still be living there but I just wondering if you have ever noticed any odd experiences in your house?

This was Crescent Woods!
