When it came time to renew contracts, some of the members were unsure. Chorong just said "Trust me" And everyone was fully on board. And now every single song they have released is JUST SO DAMNED GOOD. I'm So Sick and Eung Eung fast became some of my favorite kpop songs, and now Dumhdurum is stuck in my head now too. I kept away from listening to it for a while, just heard it for the first time yesterday

They do at least one comeback a year yet they still did an all kill that's what veteran queens do

I think their secret to success even after 9 years is... 1) The members have a good relationship 2) Their company manages them well- they aren’t too harsh on them and don’t overwork them (from what it seems).they allow them to promote alone but still have comebacks as well 3)They grew with their fans- they used to have a cute imagine,but they’re a little more mature now.At the same time,they’re still “apink”!
Yeah I agree with you but I also feel like they know that if they were to disband, solo activities will literally flop. Esp when you compare OHY's solo mv / live performances compared to Apink as a whole. So being together is probably better for their pockets as well.

i think the groundbreaking thing about APink is that they break all streotypes and discriminations in south korea with their recent comebacks. In entertainment world especially, they always want fresh young faces and treat women like they have expiry date and throwing them away when there are younger newcomers. Girl groups in general also face a lot of discriminations where there are always criticized because of their appearance etc. Not saying boy groups have it easy either but it's too obvious the way women are discriminated in SK. Look at the Nth Room scandal, some korean women say it's so hard to be women in SK. So, apink is bringing a sense of hope and inspiration to other women in the entertainment world specifically and other women in SK generally. No woman deserves to feel discriminated because of her gender. Women especially, let's stop hating on the success achieved by other women, alright?

I’m not part of the fandom, but I do always support their new single releases. Apink and f(x) are what initially got me into kpop years ago. Literally, with Apink and f(x) each member catches my eye! They each bring something to the table. I’m glad Apink is having a successful comeback!!

apink still mange to keep THEIR sound since debut, i don’t know how to explain it. Even through all their concepts they still have their sound. I would be able to tell this is their song without knowing the group. It’s just their signature? It’s amazing. They aren’t trying to be different. It’s just so nice to listen to something else.
I remember the days when Apink first debuted. I’m so glad they’re still around.. really the only thing that reminds me of how great the 2nd Generation Kpop was and the memories associated with it.
Well they did have a member departure, it was yookyung and she left the group in 2013. She left before NoNoNo era because of some controversy with the compony, but it was settled and she and the other members are in good terms (Eunji, chorong, yookyung and another member i cant remember hang out and eunji posted it on her instagram a long time ago). But Apink is one of the longest running girl group who has very very little controversy. Even if they do, they settled it with a very mature way that won't start a fan-war (the KBS incident) And they all have very good relationship between the members. Very proud of Apink😍😍✨✨

Well they did have a member departure, it was yookyung and she left the group in 2013. She left before NoNoNo era because of some controversy with the compony, but it was settled and she and the other members are in good terms (Eunji, chorong, yookyung and another member i cant remember hang out and eunji posted it on her instagram a long time ago). But Apink is one of the longest running girl group who has very very little controversy. Even if they do, they settled it with a very mature way that won't start a fan-war (the KBS incident) And they all have very good relationship between the members. Very proud of Apink😍😍✨✨
