Enjoyed this vlog. The magic is definitely on our bucketlist. Sad to hear Drew was having difficulty with his new age and cruising. Sounds like he was in-between a rock and a hard place. Looking forward to the rest of the series

I really enjoyed this video. Im taking a family reunion cruise on this ship in June with my family and my first time cruising. Hoping the seas are calmer as I dont want to get sea sick. I should get the patch as well. Also want to do some shore excursions. Would you recommend interior or ocean view?
Thank you. You’ll have a great time. Definitely wear a patch and pack non drowsy Dramamine just in case but hopefully the seas aren’t bad! For the price point, I’d recommend an interior. Also you probably won’t spend much time in the cabin with this being your first cruise. There is so much to see and do. I say get an interior and use the price difference for excursions. But if the oceanview isn’t much more- get that. Sometimes the oceanview may only be a little more than an interior. Hope you have the best time!

Considering the Magic for 2025. I am going back and forth between the Magic and Horizon.
Magic is an amazing ship. But I think Horizon has a little more to offer- Jiji Asian Kitchen, IMAX theater, etc. We will be on Horizon in July 2024.
Where did u board...my first time on magic will be in September...leaving from Miami going to mexico....does magic have karaoke??? Thats always a fav of mine!
We boarded in Miami. And yes they have karaoke every night! We went once but I didn’t vlog it. Have a great time!

Yes it is. I like the sweet and sour shrimp as well. Wish they just gave me double shrimp lol.

Yes there are several ships dealing with it. But I think it’s mostly settled now. Cruising again tomorrow and we are hoping for smooth seas!
Hi, I will be going on this ship soon, What do you mean when you say you are going to sanitize your cabin? I am planning on taking rubbing alcohol wipey things.
I use Clorox wipes for the bathroom and touchable areas like door knobs, fridge handle, counter top. And I use Lysol spray for the bedding and seats. Have a great cruise!

what's the drink package?
So did I understand, you are buying a drink package and sharing it with both rooms?
Well…. Technically you aren’t supposed to share. However, my hubby and I aren’t big drinkers. They give a max of 15 drinks per day. So I just might get a drink and pass it off to him. When we book our family, we typically put on of us in each cabin- one because we have loyalty offers we can use for each cabin- and we both aren’t forced to buy the drink package.
Were you on the Mardi gras in April 2023? I played cards with a group of people and I thought maybe you were one of them.
No I haven’t been on Mardi Gras since March 2022. But I’ve heard I have a few look alike out there lol
