It’s a cold grey winter’s day. I think I’ll escape into one of those hot baths. From there I can watch in comfort as Anna continues her visit under the rain and sleet. As conditions improve, I’ll pop out for a bracing night-time walk to where a small shop serves a nice hot bowl of soup. At least, thanks to Anna’s brave video, that’s what I’m dreaming.

Was at matsue and izumo early last year using the 500 yen highway bus discount from Hiroshima. Did not have time to explore this area. I will go again.

I so enjoy these 'hidden' at least to us.... villages. This was a cool, if not cold windy day....flurries of snow, perfect for this time of year. I've watched this so many times over the past 10 days....I've lost count. A perfect way to end what has been a year beyond description. This video along with the best music you could have picked....is a fitting conclusion. Words sometimes get in the way of trying to describe how beautiful and peaceful your video's are.....and I've said too much already. Arigatou.....I pray you are well, and safe always.

The quaint Yunotsu Onsen Town is so beautiful, I enjoyed seeing the elderly woman and man at the beginning, they are called Kaumatua in Aotearoa and they represent wisdom, strength, perseverance, humbleness, love, kindness, gentleness and with the rain it means blessings. The pottery is amazing!!! The brewery is certainly different to NZ. The Naito family residence is lovely, the Tatsuno Gozen-jinja Shrine wow what a grand entrance, not sure but it looks like a twisted trunk or huge branch whatever it is it’s like nature woven into the shrine. The Atago shrine overlooking the waters is so calming and spiritual. Water is always wonderful to watch and listen to, a sense of being, of sighing, reflecting, releasing from oneself into the ……... The night time with lights is always a mood setter for something lovely, nice, sweet, calming, picturesque, and pretty especially with the tables and chairs outside 💙💙💙💓💕💓💙💙💙. These old towns really are fascinating, they've got so much character. I like how lots of the buildings have pots outside their door with plants, even the vending machine. Excellent tour as usual Anna :)
好きな建物をどう見せて行くのか、アングルや向きを変えて飽きさせず、何度もアプローチするところ、いつもながら参考になります。このようにジンバルが自在に操作できたらなと思います。
今回は特に時間の経過に魅せられました。早朝でしょうか、町にほとんど人影はなくとも、家の中で働く市井の人たちの気配がします。トンネルを通り抜けて回り込むと登り窯、風が出始めて霙が降り出します。とても情緒のある美しい場面です。そして神社に上り、甍を見下ろす場面、そして港に下りて低い位置から水辺に迫る部分、水滴でぼやけたような絵がとても好きでした。この流れが最高に好きです。そして夜、灯りのついた温泉街。灯りだけがついて寝静まったようです。私には人のおしゃべりは聞こえませんが、風景のおしゃべりが聞こえます。いつもよりスローなスピードがなんとも言えない幸せを染み渡らせてくれます。Annaさん、最高です‼️観光地を映してはいますが、どこか特定の場所というより普遍的な世界を感じました。どこかコンペに出してもらいたいくらいです。

以前からコメントしたことがあります。ローマ在住４０年の者です。若い頃はそれほど感じませんでしたが年を取ると日本のこの様な景色を見ると何故かホットします。コロナで一時帰国もままならずAnna さんのヴィデオを見ています。以前はテレビのコーディネートの仕事をしていましたがAnnaさんのカメラワークは素晴らしいですね！これからも楽しみにしてます。

前作は新潟の佐渡の紹介、今回は温泉津(ゆのつ)の紹介、いずれも転勤で10年近く務めた所です。
ゆっくり時間が戻る感じで、若かりし頃を振り返りました。
温泉津は山陰へキャンプに行く時の通過地でしたが、地名以外余り記憶は無かったです。

広島県に住んでいた頃数回訪ねました。
知られて欲しくないところ、にぎやかな言語が大声が響き渡るのは嫌だ、だけど寂れるなら理解有るお客さんに来てもらってこの雰囲気を残したまま継続して欲しい。
いつもながら目の付け所が絶妙です。

昼と夜で雰囲気は変わりますが、子供の頃の昭和の町並みを想起させます。コロナのせいか、湯治客が殆ど居なかったことが、却って山陰らしく感じられます。今回も登り窯や漁港も含めて印象深い景色ばかりでした。途中で小雪が舞い落ちてましたが、風邪などひかれませんように。これからも「未だこんな所があったのか」と感動させて下さい。

わぁ…これが今年最後の動画だったのですね。(笑)同じ日本海側でも、前回の佐渡島とは、やはり違いますね。石見銀山の近くだからか、町中は、海が近くにあるようにみえませんね。レトロな薬師湯の中はどんな風なんだろ？この町こそ、昭和初期のような趣がある町のように感じました。夜の景色は、なんとなく洞川温泉と似ていましたね。町全体が大きな一匹の蛍みたいで美しかった。✨父母は、こんな景色を幼い頃生きたのかな…と。🌿道は、アスファルトじゃなかっただろうけど。(笑)お正月前に父母を思い出すことができた映像をありがとうございました💕では、お正月は実家の母に会いに帰ることとしましょう。マスクと手洗いとアルコールのお供を連れて。(笑)アンナさん、良いお年を❗🍀👍

何度も通いました
鄙びた雰囲気がとても良かったですが、世界遺産に登録された今はかなり変わってしまった事でしょう…
神谷寿貞が拓いた石見大森銀山は最盛期の頃、
大森銀山と銀鉱石積出港の温泉津港都市圏には20万人とも30万人とも言われる人がいたのだとか
超都会と言われた京の都で人口10万人。
２番目の大都会.山口や堺や直江津で５万～６万人だったのだから、
当時の大森～温泉津都市圏はまさに破格で、世界規模のメガロポリス的栄華を誇っていたとの事
人が集まれば文化が醸成される。
司馬遼太郎先生曰く
『本当に佳い地』と言うのは歴史の積み重ねと人の想いにより醸すものである…
…なのだとか
温泉津は、そういう古き良き時代を今に遺す地に思えます
貴重な情報をご教示いただき誠にありがとうございます。当時の人口の具体的な数字を拝見すると、いかにこの地域が賑やかだったのかとても具体的にイメージすることができました。

温泉津は私も一度は訪れたいと思っている場所なので嬉しいです。
私は行きたいと思った場所はGoogleマップで調べてブックマークするので知っていましたが、温泉津は温泉街が小さいので、9分も撮れ高があるのかな⁈と思ってましたが、昼と夜と港を撮られたんですね。
私的には夜が好きです。
小さくて鄙びた温泉街は夜がよーく似合いますね。
Annaさんも流石に泊まって、温泉を楽しまれたのでしょうか？
いっぱい働かれたので、たまには自分孝行して下さいね。
(もう正月休みの私は近所の温泉に入りまくってますw)

I so enjoy these 'hidden' at least to us.... villages. This was a cool, if not cold windy day....flurries of snow, perfect for this time of year. I've watched this so many times over the past 10 days....I've lost count. A perfect way to end what has been a year beyond description. This video along with the best music you could have picked....is a fitting conclusion. Words sometimes get in the way of trying to describe how beautiful and peaceful your video's are.....and I've said too much already. Arigatou.....I pray you are well, and safe always.

The quaint Yunotsu Onsen Town is so beautiful, I enjoyed seeing the elderly woman and man at the beginning, they are called Kaumatua in Aotearoa and they represent wisdom, strength, perseverance, humbleness, love, kindness, gentleness and with the rain it means blessings. The pottery is amazing!!! The brewery is certainly different to NZ. The Naito family residence is lovely, the Tatsuno Gozen-jinja Shrine wow what a grand entrance, not sure but it looks like a twisted trunk or huge branch whatever it is it’s like nature woven into the shrine. The Atago shrine overlooking the waters is so calming and spiritual. Water is always wonderful to watch and listen to, a sense of being, of sighing, reflecting, releasing from oneself into the ……... The night time with lights is always a mood setter for something lovely, nice, sweet, calming, picturesque, and pretty especially with the tables and chairs outside 💙💙💙💓💕💓💙💙💙. These old towns really are fascinating, they've got so much character. I like how lots of the buildings have pots outside their door with plants, even the vending machine. Excellent tour as usual Anna :)
There are no new towns in Japan for the last couple of hundred years. There are a lot of new buildings though.
