I tried this exact recipe. I used stuffed shells and added sharp cheddar at the top, but everything was the same otherwise. It was delicious and SUPER CREAMY. The laughing cow and mayo were unusual ingredients but really made the difference and gave the dish an extra something. My 5 year old brother who is super picky gobbled it up and gave it a rating of “a million thousand” :) thank you, Island Vibe ♥️
This looks so good, I have never tried any type of Haitian food , I hope I can make this okay 😅,Yours is the best looking macaroni I’ve ever seen though,I appreciate you sharing your recipe ✨
Is this low fat mayo or regular, because you added a lot. Usually when I add a lot of mayo, it makes the gratine greasy. Was it greasy, and if it wasn’t how did you achieve the non greasy consistency?
I know everyone cooks for their preference, but what’s the traditional way? I just watched another videos and they used cream cheese instead of mayo, and another person created layers with the sauce and meat instead of just mixing it in 🤔
I'm Jamaican and I LOVE Haitian macaroni!

No it's regular mayo. I have other ingredients to combine it with that's probably why I'm not sure.
I know everyone cooks for their preference, but what’s the traditional way? I just watched another videos and they used cream cheese instead of mayo, and another person created layers with the sauce and meat instead of just mixing it in 🤔
Cola Sol the steps are traditional but the meats or how it’s layered can change based on the person but mayo and ham is usually the route
I've never seen anybody add mayo before. I guess each family has their own recipe.
Bel bagay menm sim pa renmen makaroni gratine mw plis renmen lazagna
