1) i've eaten this and it actually tastes really good. even if it looks kind of odd. 2) what were the makers of this show thinking for God's sake? they could have chosen different foods. something Colin could actually eat. 3) i also think that choosing foods like this they made Colin and Bradley feel uncomfortable. Colin couldn't participate and he had to spend time alone somewhere off screen. and Bradley looked quite annoyed and uncomfortable all the time he spent there alone making the food
I totally agree! As a vegetarian I felt so bad for Colin! He couldn't participate in the main meal and got a piece of bread with something spread on it, then they kept telling him to try the ice cream even though it was obvious he didn't want to and was uncomfortable. Perhaps their hearts were in the right place, but this felt like the Bradley show and that made Bradley feel uncomfortable to not have Colin involved.
After the interviewer and the chef said "cover it completely" Bradley did try his best to cover it COMPLETELY...look at 5:38 and after that, he doesn't wanna miss a spot! HAHAHAHA oh Bradley, so cute!

I'm lactose intolerant, although it has improved a lot since I was a child. But I could still eat ice cream, cheese, etc, it just made me feel a little sick, depending on how much I ate. One bite shouldn't effect you. Also, there are things you can take to lessen the symptoms. I was also a vegetarian when I was younger, but I had a hard time eating because I'm already a picky eater. You can totally eat eggs if you are a vegetarian. Although, hopefully there was no gelatin in that ice cream (which is a common ingredient in ice cream, jello, marshmallows, etc) it's made from extracted skin, bones, and tissue from various animals. Most vegetarians won't eat it. If I had to guess Colin probably tasted it because of how Bradley seemed very shy, and nervous about his cooking skills. Kind like he was trying to give him a confidence boost.
Seeing Bradley cook made my life! I way he gets confused at what to do next with the equipment and stuff just made me love him even more. XD He just looks so awkward and I think that's just adorable :3 And when he went to eat his ice cream, he stabbed it with a fork a couple times and I almost died.

If you take Beano before you eat dairy, it won't affect you to much if you are lactose intolerate. It helps dramatically. Trust me, people who are know when to take it.
@DannyNQH no that's not true. the ice-cream ball kind of rolls over when the lower side is ready. and if it doesn't then you just need to slightly touch it and it rolls over. i've fried different kinds of ball-shaped foods including ice-cream balls and it always works.

I find using the edge of a dinner knife to crack the shell makes a clean break, rather than rapping the egg on something and having the shell fracture into bits. I very rarely get shell in the egg using a knife.
"why would you spend time cooking fast food...."? Well, as much as I like McDonald's fries, there is a difference, in my opinion, between fast food fries and home made fries. There are times when I'd like nothing more than freshly made homecooked fries--especially when I'm eating something like homecooked burgers, BBQ ribs/chicken, fish, or steak. And there's nothing WRONG w/ oven chips, I've just been spoiled by my mom and was at least 12 before I ever had 'em, so I don't like 'em near as much
I thought Fried ice cream was a Mexican dish... I've had it in Mexican restaurants before. SOO good. haha. And I'm from the south, so everything is fried here. XD

Well, I'm not sure I've had fried ice cream, but...I rather imagine one would eat it with a spoon, or, at most, a fork. Oh, well, not a big deal. =D And, yes, I am American--from Alaska to be precise. I suppose we do eat more fried foods, although the only thing I can think of that my mom ever uses our deep fat fryer for is french fries. And maybe less people have them than I would imagine, I know there are lots of (strange) people who buy frozen fries and bake them in the oven. *shudder*

My family has never owned a deep fat fryer ever. Never just assume! I'm also not good with lactose. Full fat milk, cheese and ice cream in large quantities is totally out for me. Also artificial food additives are out, as I was born with ADHD.
