No matter how scummy Kabuto is, I still like how Kishimoto managed to keep him relevant for this one encounter. From ninja cards Kabuto days till now we never really got to see the real Kabuto.
Funny enough Kabuto related to Tobi in some many ways invisible to many people no true identity outside of being like someone else Orchairmu and Madara
@@sparknazo I always thought it was very cool & ironic that Kabuto has a little bit of Tobi, Itachi, & Orochimaru drilled into his life backstory to make him what he is now
I swear almost every Villain in this show has a sad backstory. Regardless of how much Kabuto is hated, you guys have to agree that that was a beautiful.

Though We never got a Kabuto full backstory, we only know a little that he was taken in by the leaf by the chief of med and this could be implied here that she was that person and because of that skill, Kabuto became great and medical ninjutsu.
This is the beauty of Naruto, they explain why people turn into villain

@Idiris Shekh, Fredrika Bremergymnasiet SA19b elev Yuri Lowenthal is fluent in Japanese, I guess that is the reason.
I don't think he is underrated. After Troy Baker (voice of Pain) I am pretty sure that he is the most well known out of the Naruto cast.
He also had a ton of roles in anime, wester animation and lots of videogames (Prince of Persia, Persona 4 and the latest Spider-man game, being some examples).
Irrelevant bit of trivia: he and the voice actress of Temari are married.

Kabuto's backstory was the saddest of them all.
The thing about Kabuto is that we knew a lot of backstories from him because he is a spy so nearly everything we knew until now was fake info.
Just like Itachi, when I first saw him and was revealed as the one who killed his family and clan, I thought he was more cold blooded than Orochimaru and Zabuza, but I was wrong about him, plus there have been secret hints that I’ve missed about Itachi when Tobi or rather Obito told Sasuke the truth. After the truth was revealed it all made sense.
After he laid out Kakashi back in the village, in response to what he and Kisame were looking for he said “The legacy of the fourth hokage” Kakashi knew, Jiraiya knew and the old man knew, but no one in the village knew, so why would a supposedly dangerous rogue ninja know?
Plus when he and Naruto had a talk, just moments before his duel with Sasuke: he could’ve put Naruto in a Genjutsu trap and lure him back to his location even if he was a clone but he didn’t.
Who would have thought that Swarmy Kabuto would have one of the saddest backstories in all of Naruto?
Uhh, sure it's sad, but one of the saddest? Sasuke, Naruto, Neji, Gaara, there's probably more but that's all i remember at the top of my head x)

Never imagined Kabuto backstory to be so sad. I think i had skipped the episode when i watched.
next episode is even more tragic, so you definitely lost probably one of the most solid points in the whole arc.
Kabuto's backstory is easily in the top 3, when it comes to tragedy, in my opinion! Each and every one of us is shaped by our own environment. It determines whether we become good or bad people. Imagine if Kabuto's environment shaped him into being a good person - he would have been an ally of the Leaf and he might have been the 2nd best medical ninja in the world, after Tsunade. Of course, that is if that path offered him the same level of education and experience in medical ninjutsu.

Orochimaru (the biggest threat to the village)
Danzo ( the biggest corruption from the leaf)
Itachi ( who is a threat to unveil the leafs secrets and information if he wanted too)
I do know sasuke didn’t kill itachi but he prolonged his death so you should get what I mean

The thing with some of these fights is the amount of dialogue in between actions. Like, time is off the essence sometimes but they're just chilling having a chat like they're at a bar having beer 😆 🤣

Kabuto's storyline is probably one of the few things Kishimoto didn't feck up and is actually really good and it kinda gives the OG Naruto vibe, that has been lost long time ago in Shippuuden. Next episodes are great.

Naruto goes hard again with sad villain backstory..now we may hate them but also get attached to them
Could have been beter to put Izanami for the Hyuuga and the Izanagi for the Uchiha. Showing that they both come from the same place, being from the Sage of 6 paths (there's more but it's a little spoilery).
Also in the mythology, Izanami and Izanagi are siblings that later ended up together (some insest stuff lol). Could have work in this, showing that they both come from the same place and both having powerfull, eyes. Hyuuga making the Uchihas more humble (or something else idk). But both needing something like the senju blood/DNA to make it work.
