Hey friends! 🎄 A lot of you have informed me that the audio becomes out of sync right after I talk about Something From Tiffany’s (around minute 13) and think this is because I originally recommend the movie Silver Skates next, but after realizing that recommending a Russian film during this time is extremely insensitive because of the war in Ukraine now right, I went into the TH-cam editor and edited that part out of the video. I should have realized that when making the video in the first place so I’m very grateful you guys pointed that out to me. But apparently TH-cam didn’t do it’s job and didn’t edit out that portion correctly. However, all you need to do to fix the problem is watch the video on a laptop or phone. It seems that watching it on a tv is when people have issues with the audio. I’m so sorry about that and wish TH-cam would have edited that part out correctly, but I don’t want to fully delete and reupload the video. So try watching on your phone or computer for a much better experience! 🤍🫶🏻 Thank you so much for your understanding!

Have you ever seen The Christmas Vault Book? It is amazing!! I bought one for myself after Christmas a few years ago. It was 19.99 80% off. After I realized what the book was about, I went back and bought my entire family one! Parents, grandma, siblings, my adult children…..I could hardly contain myself from January to December!!! I’m a huge fan of Detective Anna(season 1 is on Amazon prime) which is in Russian with subtitles and has gorgeous costumes, crime solving and a spooky element I think you’d enjoy. They made season 2 last year I believe and I caught a few episodes on a Russian TH-cam channel. I love watching foreign films in their native language! So much better than dubbed shows. My fav is The Horseman on the Roof which is a French film but there is German and Italian also spoken.

i didn't say this when i meant to, but that talk at the end was just what i needed. this christmas, i've been too caught up in schoolwork and events (plus our winter break started right on the 24th) that christmas just feels like it came and went. there was no time for getting into the christmas spirit or really thinking about presents and enjoying making/buying them or romanticizing the whole season. i've been feeling really upset and regretful that me and my family weren't able to fully enjoy christmas, but it was nice to hear the "that's just how it is this year", and how we don't need to feel a certain way or do all the christmas activities. i've taken this year as something to learn from for next year, and even if i don't get the full feeling i want next year, i know it'll be ok. thank you ♥

There is a beautiful Spanish song Ríu Chíu that has become popular around Christmas. I adore it. And my best friend and I do "Snow Walks". After it snows and gets dark, we bundle up, take hot cocoa in our thermal mugs and walk around the neighborhood enjoying the sweet hush the snow brings and the twinkle lights against the snow. I recommand the movie Three wishes for Cinderella! It is not a christmas movie per se, but a lovely remake of Cinderella taking place in Norway - so lots of snow, forests & mountains. I really enjoyed it :)

Going and watching your old xmas videos since I just started watching your channel in spring. And the message at the end of the video was so important for me. Xmas is my FAVORITE time of year I LOVE winter and I have so many things I want to do to celebrate and this year I am just SO busy, I am trying to get a huge project off the ground, traveling for my normal day job in a week, and balancing all my hobbies and activities and I was getting so upset that this Christmas was being eaten a bit by all the other stuff (even though I love that stuff too!). But the end of your video reminded me, sometimes that is how it is. Another Christmas movie recommendation- Christmas in Connecticut! Watched it for the first time this year and it’s my new fav. A cozy black and white movie, all about hosting Christmas dinner on a farm in CT! There’s a really cute romance too. Love it.
Have you ever seen The Christmas Vault Book? It is amazing!! I bought one for myself after Christmas a few years ago. It was 19.99 80% off. After I realized what the book was about, I went back and bought my entire family one! Parents, grandma, siblings, my adult children…..I could hardly contain myself from January to December!!! I love it so much!

I didn't know your ancestors are from Germany! What I do know though is that you would love the German Christmas markets! It's the best thing to get you into the spirit. Christmas music, hot chocolate, mulled wine, punch, comfort food, Christmas lights, little wooden huts where you can buy handcrafted things... it's always lovely

I loved the movie "Last Christmas" lots of fun George Michaels songs, a different storyline, and even has the dragon queen from Game of Thrones in the lead roll. So, after watching that, my favorite Christmas song is "Last Christmas".

I’m a huge fan of Detective Anna(season 1 is on Amazon prime) which is in Russian with subtitles and has gorgeous costumes, crime solving and a spooky element I think you’d enjoy. They made season 2 last year I believe and I caught a few episodes on a Russian TH-cam channel. I love watching foreign films in their native language! So much better than dubbed shows. My fav is The Horseman on the Roof which is a French film but there is German and Italian also spoken.

i didn't say this when i meant to, but that talk at the end was just what i needed. this christmas, i've been too caught up in schoolwork and events (plus our winter break started right on the 24th) that christmas just feels like it came and went. there was no time for getting into the christmas spirit or really thinking about presents and enjoying making/buying them or romanticizing the whole season. i've been feeling really upset and regretful that me and my family weren't able to fully enjoy christmas, but it was nice to hear the "that's just how it is this year", and how we don't need to feel a certain way or do all the christmas activities. i've taken this year as something to learn from for next year, and even if i don't get the full feeling i want next year, i know it'll be ok. thank you ♥

There is a beautiful Spanish song Ríu Chíu that has become popular around Christmas. I adore it. And my best friend and I do "Snow Walks". After it snows and gets dark, we bundle up, take hot cocoa in our thermal mugs and walk around the neighborhood enjoying the sweet hush the snow brings and the twinkle lights against the snow. It is something we look forward to after every snowfall. Have a wonderful Holiday season!

I recommand the movie Three wishes for Cinderella! It is not a christmas movie per se, but a lovely remake of Cinderella taking place in Norway - so lots of snow, forests & mountains. I really enjoyed it :)

Going and watching your old xmas videos since I just started watching your channel in spring. And the message at the end of the video was so important for me. Xmas is my FAVORITE time of year I LOVE winter and I have so many things I want to do to celebrate and this year I am just SO busy, I am trying to get a huge project off the ground, traveling for my normal day job in a week, and balancing all my hobbies and activities and I was getting so upset that this Christmas was being eaten a bit by all the other stuff (even though I love that stuff too!). But the end of your video reminded me, sometimes that is how it is. This year I am the Hallmark Christmas girl who lives in the big city and is working hard through the holiday season haha sounds like a great movie character to me! : ) Thanks.
