  • Are you getting your saddle out of the shed/car with it all dragging on the ground?? Here's a video showing you how to put away your western saddle properly so you don't trip over everything!
Riding as an adult is very different from learning as a child. We are often a lot more responsible and observant but also more nervous, unbalanced and even scared now that we break when we fall and have to pay for the damage! There are many great trainers and horsemanship programs out there but sometimes it's the little things that are missing that can make the big differences so I hope to fill in the gaps with the parts that I found made all the difference to me! I will try to keep content very topic specific and kept short and to the point so you can spend less time infront of the computer and more time outside. I aim to add new content each week and welcome ideas for new topics.

Girth is what goes on an English saddle. What you have there is a cinch.

How bout removing the cinches , when through riding, to wash off them? The reason for the off billet. Then wash and dry, and store them apart from an expensive saddle? Come to my place without a camera. My tack is quite old
