Hey Plum, it was me with the sipahis ^^ It's nice to see it from your POV, and as i said in chat, you should try sipahis with mastery, they are 100% worth it !
Take your time learning phalanx, aside from phalanx, you should seriously consider playing yyd cav in the new event, especially if you’re attacking. I always pull them with me for whenever I am attacking and they do awesome when it comes to flanking enemy ranged from the side gate of home point. There’s also houndsmen on defense, and healing archers. The map allows for a new stock of ranged on the terrain to be used. Hope you consider it.

I like this map, both sides have advantages. The defence side have place to set, while the attacker could treb the base easily

it's a doctrine called "Dragon", it add 150 of all defences to the units for 10 seconds
Funny map but wait this for a simple map like this is no okay. They should release around 3 maps.
