What We Loved and Hated About Typhoon Lagoon

- We visited Disney's Typhoon Lagoon for the first time with our toddler and our preschooler. The food was awful, but it was nice to have a place to take our preschooler that would keep her occupied for hours on end while we relaxed in the bitter summer heat after a long week of work.

My favorite Disney water park! I've been there many times!!
We haven’t been to Blizzard Beach yet! Hope to get there soon, but we had fun at Typhoon Lagoon. I guess we expected there to be more stuff for little kids to do, but our little girls managed to stay occupied the whole time anyway.

Awesome! Hope you have a wonderful time! August tends to be REALLY hot and humid down here and rain a lot, so make sure to stay cool and hydrated and have ponchos ready to go!
Ya'll look so familiar~ I am a cast member at Disney Boardwalk but also used to work over at DHS. And don't ever take food like that popcorn. Give it back and ask for a supervisor because whoever made it just needs to be removed off the popcorn line lol. Never accept less than par food. Always complain and let guest services know so something can be done and addressed.
We wandered around the boardwalk a few months ago.
We probably should have asked for a replacement popcorn. I don’t think we would have asked for a supervisor. It wasn’t that big of a deal to us. It was so salty and it wasn’t “fluffy.”

Also, we have LOVED these sunglasses from Shady Rays! They look great and our favorite part is that if they get lost or broken, we can order a replacement (for a small fee).

Glad y’all conquered the Lagoon! Lol! It’s one of my favorite Disney water parks. It’s huge, yes, but so fun. Perhaps when the kids get older, Alaina will have some buddies who will ride the water slides and go on the lazy River with her and you. Vivian seemed to thoroughly enjoy her time! I have to also agree with the food there. Not the best, honestly. Years ago, they had a snorkeling experience, in the mid 90’s and it was so much fun! At least you can say y’all went to Typhoon Lagoon! Great video too! Love how you just winged it! *Monica
