We've had some people reach out about purchasing the Deluxe Kickstarter version of Rescuing Robin Hood which 50% more scenarios. We have a limited supply, but are now selling them on our website if you want a copy!
Ordered a copy. Wouldn't have bothered to look up the availability of the Kickstarter edition if it wasn't for your comment I read here. So just letting you know that a comment can really go a long way. Can't wait to try this out!
I got this from the Kickstarter probably 4 or 5 months ago. I'm giving it to my niece for her 10th bday in June. Looking forward to playing it with her, I think she's going to love it.
During Virtual Con a few years ago, I had the opportunity to play this and test it with the designer Bryce. It's a pretty cool game. I backed it on KS. Just a matter of time before getting it to the table. I recommend! Thanks for the review DT.
Might be helpful during the 4 square reviews to have the game out on the table. I'm guessing this has been considered before, but just might help understand the comments/criticisms
I wonder how well it plays solo... Looks fun and puzzly-without being a nightmare to keep track of. I think I'd make my own double-layered board for the cubes, though.
The game plays well as a solo game. However, I would recommend playing the multi-band solo mode and don't play the single-band solo mode unless you play with the updated rules. We updated the rules on the single-band solo mode to make it more balanced. They are on our website and will also be included in the next print run. You also can check out the Love 2 Hate solo playthrough on TH-cam for Lance's take on it rather than just taking the publisher's word on it! :)
@@castillogames1256 I’ve had my eyes on this game for a while. It was on Amazon and I almost bought it but there was very little information on it. It actually looks like fun and I definitely want to give it a look.
I backed the PNP level, but the files were not great so I've held back on building it so far. Was really surprised to see a 4 squares review of this one! Definitely convinced me to give it a try after all!
Neat, thanks for the review. Hadn’t heard about this before someone here mentioned it last week or so. Also that is a really good looking hat, a bit jealous.
I really like the artwork in this. It reminds me of Catacombs artwork. Based on the review, it seems that it might be too easy. I mean, if you can pass your brawn on to other players, couldn’t you just steamroll right through all of the opponents or the castle?
I guess if you have a very narrow definition of what game means. There are many different styles of games. This type just isn’t for you and that’s fine, but it doesn’t make it not a game.

I went ahead and ordered a copy as well. Even though my group never wants to play co-op games.
@@dallastexas5653 just to spend money?
@@Sam-vk8xd no, there’s a solo option.
This feels like a easier version of Friday. Which is a plus :). Friday is a difficult game to win.
Yes!

Reminds me of Regicide, if someone is looking for a free alternative
I did not expect scores in the upper range after the initial discussion. Surprising! I will have to check it out.

@@castillogames1256 Thanks!
I don't mind playing multi-handed solo, as long as I can play it solo 🙂

I like Robin Hood, but didn’t feel the theme here. The way it was described it sounds like just a numbers puzzle.
This reminds of a light, fun version of Xenoshyft. Will definitely have to pick this up!
Tim Burr....that's going in the Dad-a-Base
Along with Sir Render

Maybe a discussion on cooperation vs collaboration is due.

Seems like I’m in the minority, but I have zero interest in this game based on looks.
Mechanics look and sound solid though. Maybe I’ll try at a con.
This game isn't so innovative as it seems, there's another game that was released previously that has many of these mechanics, check Heroes of Tenefyr
I know it is subjective, but I have a visceral dislike for this art.
Looks good, shame it’s a co-op. If it was a normal game I would buy it.
Cooperative …🤮…. More of an activity then not a game

Cooperative games are solo games in disguise.
@@lastburning can’t play shipwreck arcana solo.
So are ALL single player video games NOT games? Because you are playing the Game not another person, just like in cooperative board games.
Sorry Just stirring the pot …. Cooperatives are a great way of expanding the hobby
