About the Program:
Generative AI is the Shiny New Toy of the tech world. What are its risks and benefits for lawyers? An MCLE program on some of Generative AI’s ethical mandates and pitfalls. How can I safely use it? What are the cliffs I don’t want to fall off?
About the Speakers:
Wendy L. Patrick, JD, PhD is a career prosecutor at the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office, named as the Public Lawyer of the Year by the California State Bar Public Law Section. She is a former Chair of the California State Bar Ethics Committee (COPRAC), and has spent the last twenty years teaching, speaking, and writing about legal ethics.
Ed McIntyre concentrates his practice exclusively on issues of professional responsibility, legal ethics, risk mitigation and standard of conduct. He counsels and represents lawyers and their firms and serves as an expert witness. He was a trial lawyer for forty years, and most recently was a litigation partner at Solomon Ward and the Firm’s professional responsibility partner.
