Hey, Miss put in the new o-ring on the oil filter casing. I alway did the fuel filters at the same time as the fuel cleaned the engine down. Bugger to get the air locks out this one.

If you’ve not done it before buy a sump gasket drop the sump off clean the oil pump gauze. You’ll be horrified what you find in there.
The #1 issue with David Brown Cases is the hydraulic system. Mainly the valve chest. Other than that the engines are pretty bulletproof.
