Happy 100th Anniversary, Columbia Pictures.
Unfortunately, they won’t be using the PAL version of the fanfare for the 100 Years logo this year after Napoleon.
I'm glad the digital version of this variant has happened!
We found the high-quality version of the Columbia logo without the Sony transition you guys!
Finally Columbia got a standalone logo after almost 30 years!
Yes
I think this is because of them only distributing it.
I guess because Apple owns this movie, and not Sony haha "It says apple original films"
@@apple_macos_finder9853 but sony does own everything except streaming rights when it comes to distribution
The Columbia logo was standalone until the Sony logo was added to it with the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014.
Not only is the standalone Columbia logo back, but also the high pitched alternate fanfare is back!
Also, happy 100 years to Columbia!
Yeah after 30 years i think.
@@nicolasribeirodossantos6082 I don't know?
@@nicolasribeirodossantos6082It’s after 9. Since 2014, Sony’s logo has appeared before the logos of Columbia and their other film studios.
Finally, a high-quality version of the Columbia logo with the high-pitched alternate fanfare man that high-pitch alternate fanfare brings back my childhood memories
The high pitched alternate fanfare could be used again for the new 100th anniversary logo in 2024 as a basis.
And without the Sony transition for the first time in 9 years!
@@SatsukiVM That could also happen again in new movies.
@@SatsukiVM That kind of Columbia Pictures logo in high pitched alternate fanfare could made used in R rated action thriller drama movies in Japan, South Korea, United Kingdom, India and Indonesia.
We got a Columbia Pictures logo without the Sony logo at the beginning!
Same arrangement with James Bond films that they distributed.
@@glenxue8768Also, at the beginning of The Magnificent Seven (2016) where it comes at second after MGM
@@glenxue8768yes. I think this only happens on films they merely distributed.
And we even got a tristar pictures without the Sony logo as well on the movie book of clarence
@@andreplayboi22moneymaker really? Interesting!
The PAL Pitch Version Is Back Somehow
They Got A Pal Version, My Dude
It’s European
Happy late 100th anniversary, Columbia pictures! 😃😃⭐⭐🎉🎉
Even though, I missed it the other day. ✨
-an apple a day keeps the doctor away-
No wonder why the Sony logo isn't in it.
The directors cut of this film is apparently over 4 hours. Which might explain why some thought it didn't go into enough detail for being 2 and a half hours long.
I feel nostalgic
Me too
Finally! The HQ version!
Finally! A Columbia logo without Sony transition! Woo!
That’s because it’s technically not really Sony’s movie. It’s Apple’s movie. Sony’s just the distributor.
@@TheBaltimoreMovieTrailerPark ahhh... now I get it
@@TheBaltimoreMovieTrailerParkalthough, even though it’s Apple’s, Sony’s still also one of the production participants of this film
Except Greyhound (2020) was under Apple and they were still able to have the Sony transition in that film.
Killers flower moon is also apple
Nice
Really hope this stand alone Columbia logo isn’t a one-off
It's only a one off
@@MrBlueBot5It isn't actually. A similar variant was featured at the beginning of The Magnificent Seven (2016)
@@Merdicano Same with Spectre (2015).
@@michaelsitton6459 Along with the first three Craig/Bond films
@@Merdicano They had the SPE byline.
The thumbnail made me think of focus miss....
no sony logo, which is interesting, but that flash at the start of the columbia logo looks pretty rough. yikes...
Columbia Pictures is 100th Anniversary now. Tomorrow is my Mom’s birthday.
Why not use the PAL High Tone 1998-2012 alternate fanfare in 2024 100th anniversary logo for an R rated film?
But Columbia Pictures has no Fanfare... at the opening of "NAPOLEON" movie... Is it US VERSION of no Fanfare Columbia Pictures Logo... my goodness...
This is the INTERNATIONAL version.
I know... In the U.S. Version a Columbia pictures removed from the movie: "Napoleon" 2023
@@abumending3754 yes only the Apple Original Films and Scott Free logos are used.
It looks like we got an HQ version of the PAL logo
I know that stand alone Columbia Pictures logo isn't one off, since that PAL Tone 1998-2012 alternate fanfare could be used again in new films. Happy 100th years to Columbia Pictures!
Since I was born
After 12 Years, The High Pitched Alternate Fanfare of Columbia Pictures is back!
Hopefully we get a standalone version of the 1.85:1 logo if Columbia Pictures ever does a movie with Apple that's in 1.85:1 aspect ratio.
No sony transition this time
Without the Sony logo
Because Apple owns Napoleon, not Sony.
Unfortunately, they won’t be using the PAL version of the fanfare for the 100 Years logo this year after Napoleon.
This is from hotel Transylvania 2012
Looks like Columbia decided to go one film it distributed in 2023 without the Sony logo.
Pal pitched Columbia logo
I guess the Sony logo's absence gave them the opportunity to bring back the 1998 alternative Columbia fanfare after 11 years.
Columbia Pictures And
Apple Original Film Present
The Sony transition is no longer seen in the logo.
It's not everyday that we get an old fanfare of Columbia in the modern day, but here we are.
Also, you may be wondering why there's no Sony logo before the Columbia logo, the answer is that Napoleon's rights was owned by Apple, Sony only distributes this film theatrically.
Honestly one of the most disappointing movies of ladt year. Not awful by any means, but excessive in every sense and glosses over some important pieces of Napoleon's story. I did love the way this movie chose to portray Josephine though.
Qué tiene que ver Columbia pictures con Napoleón
Columbia must change its intro after thirty years, it's stale, moreover, why didn't Apple use its famous xylophone jingle?
