Good video Cookie. Does your 2x2 base have to be 100% in? If not you can put 1/2 your base in on the north and east sides for more room. And the north east corner you would only need 1 square for a 2x2 base. Just something I've observed.
Someone in our alliance tested this and found from the battle report / attributes that the ATK and HP buffs for "inside fort" are 0% unless your base is totally inside the fort boundary.
yep thats why i personal dont use the alliance teleport. the personal teleport are much expensive trough the alliance points but with that u can avoid exactly that problem ;)

This is true and could create room for a few extra small bases, but won't look as nice...
