Since the Skin Activator is made in Korea (or at the very least developed in Korea) I looked a little and there are several Korean serums that are about 90% identical. They might not have like a certain plant extract, but all the main active ingredients are the same. I personally use the Pyunkang Yul Black Tea Boosting Serum, but there's also the Jin Jung Sung Omega Vita Serum, the Sung Boon Editor Active Marine Serum and the Missha Time Revolution Red Algae Serum, just to name a few. If you're curious, I suggest you give one of them a try, because all of them are even less expensive than the Lancôme one ;)
@@virginiajackson8437 I have that one and loooooove it 🖤. So glad I could be helpful! If you want to save some money I would wait for Black Friday because I got the small Black on black train case 50% off last year
Skin activator is a great serum or product. For sure. I have combination/oily and sort of sensitive skin and my skin loves it. It soothes and calms my skin and makes it look plump and healthy. However😬😬, for the price and especially, the amount that you get, it is just not cost-effective or even smart to repurchase it. Even if you had the money to afford to stock back on it when you ran out, it just doesn’t make sense to spend that amount of money and let alone have to go through the process of getting a new one every few weeks, because that’s literally all it will last you using 1 or 2 drops every day morning and night. It’s skincare, not makeup so it will obviously run out faster. Why does the vial contain such little product and cost so much? Because they need or want to make as much money as possible. But realistically, it’s not worth restocking and they should just reconsider the pricing and the amount of product to make it make sense. Now, this comes from an absolutely huge and obsessed fan of WA 🙋🏻♂️ but let’s just come back down to earth and be honest and be savvy when it comes to shopping😬😬 And don’t even get me started on their vitamin C serum… 🤣 I used up like 3 vials of Skin Activator and had to definitely switch up for another product which even gives me better results and is a great deal more cost-effective. I don’t get nearly as many breakouts as I used to now that I am mostly using Korean skincare with the exception of a couple of products. Anyway, just wanted to share my thoughts and experience. Sorry about this never-ending comment. Thanks for the video, Isabel!
@@virginiajackson8437 thank you in advance if you use my Merit link in the bio 💚. But wait for Black Friday Merit will be doing 20% off site wide and you can stack that discount on the skincare sets that are already discounted. Just want you to get the best deal.
@@LindseyBedro yes they have a Black Friday sale, but last year they lost their marbles and did 50% off a wide range of products. I have no clue if the serum was included. I had my eyes set on the black on Black train case
I’ve been wanting to try this serum for a while, but I just don’t know if I really want to add something into my routine that’s $125 for less than an ounce.
@@LindseyBedro yes it is a tough choice. How bad do you want clean ingredients 😆. All jokes aside though, this really a holy grail for people who can’t wear most skincare products out there. I think that’s really what makes it special.

The Lancom serum looks like something I would try but I also want to try the Westman Atelier serum 😅😮

Do you remember/know if WA does anything for Black Friday? I can’t seem to remember if they do or not.
