This show was something very special, I can't believe it didn't get the critical or commercial success it deserved. Also Cailee is extremely talented and has great screen presence, can't wait to see her in Civil War and Alien Romulus this summer.
Linden should have looked on he's Computer before revealing such valuable information to such a pessimistic narcissistic Normy boss... But it wouldn't have helped... Linda was sacrificed by THE WEIGHT of her discovery ... As to say; no matter what she would have done he would have been obliterated by The Discovery Leverage Aspect Of The Knowing Of The Knowledge... Devs is/was I truly magnificent series 👌✨✨✨
The TH-cam channel called Vanessa VA post today 4/30/22 highlights the potency of learning potent information effects within a few seconds may have on functioning mental capabilities... And it highlights current McKenna's work to... IT~IS very interesting stuff 🤔⁉️
What would I do with $10 million dollars? A better question to ask is? What wouldn't I do with $10 million dollars... Generating Harmony is my first priority,,, It'll be a lot of that...
what bias? he is just mad that, that jesus is not our jesus from our universe and in his pov it is not real jesus. and he is right. there is no bias. he is mad that the girl undermind the projects main goal of look into the past. the girl looked into a parallel world not our past. tf are you talking about?
In the story, he is trying to get (back) the simulation of his daughter. Not just 'probabilty amalgam' best guesses but _his_ daughter from _this_ universe.
Can't watch shows like this. There's techno babble and then there's gobbledygook. This falls heavily into the latter. It's just lazy. Hulu was wise not to renew it. Money better spent on more interesting shows for sure.
I am desperate to discuss this. I strongly disagree regarding the first part of the show. The ending unfortunately fails to satisfy me, but the rest of the show has solid philosophy and physics for sci-fi. Obviously technology on such a scale does not exist, but that's an engineering problem not a physics problem. Somehow snap-shotting a part of reality, extrapolating the rest from that part, and then running a full simulation of it on quantum computer is sort of physically possible. I'd love to discuss. Obviously I have not gone into detail yet but I need to hear who I'm talking to first.
@@pseudonymousbeing987 have a working knowledge of writing, science and psychology. The issue here is the writers inability to convey a deeper meaning while not relying on the technobabble to drive the story. In this case they mire the story down with gobbledygook to portray the character as smart. This puts up a barrier between audience and subject. You don’t want that. It dehumanizes the message. Star Trek does it better and Star Wars avoids it entirely. Instead of explaining the tech, show it so the audience understands the complexity. In Stargate when Daniel figures out how addresses work we don’t hear about the quantum mechanics. We see his work and the mystery behind the gate. It’s far better told.
@@jonathanstone4878 Ok. I'm an undergraduate student of physics. I was hoping you'd mention specific things in the plot, such as the impossibility of simulating all of reality using a small portion of reality, namely a small quantum computer. I would say in response that the company is only stimulating Earth probably. The thing is it's not gobbledygook. It's largely correct or at the least shows clear signs the writers actually understand what they're writing about. As opposed to gobbledygook or technobabble which has no correspondence to reality. Forgive me it's been a while since I've seen it, I don't remember which parts I did disagree with. This is not a failure of the show. It is a failure of the viewer. The show fully educates you about the quantum mechanics you need to understand it's plot, and all that physics is all largely valid. There is no issue here. It sounds like you just didn't pay enough attention or got intimidated by it. I'm being honest, it's truly not gobbledygook.
@@pseudonymousbeing987I’m not intimidated by it - I’m just not interested in a theoretical physics lesson in my drama. The Three Body Problem was far more interesting btw. Hard science fiction has to be interesting and I really didn’t find this one to be. The Expanse was another superior series of books and TV. Annihilation and Ex Machina was also better. Devs simply tried too hard to and didn’t have enough character factor to make most ppl care. The fact that it wasn’t picked up proves that point. Hopefully, the three body problem does better.
I miss this show so much, i need more
I hear you, I still think about this show
absolutely. we need to make a community for this show
It's a Limited Series, meant to have only 1 season.
Me too. This show was special.
Try the first season of Westworld

Where is HR when you need it.
I love this scene. Forest splits hairs because every hair on Amaya's head matters to him. He doesn't want just any Amaya, he only wants HIS Amaya.
THAT PRIMUS T-SHIRT.
She has the range (Priscilla Presley to teenage boy)
I love the fact the Linden stayed true to the information she found...
And rodeo to the hoofs fell off!!!
🔥🤟HELL YEAH LINDEN 🤟🔥

And stop working at the most groundbreaking science project? What would you then do? Play games, and party?
