Its been 16 years since I last played MO2, everyones playing the newest installation from starvault Mortal Exodus 2. I finish putting my kids to bed and I head to my office to get in a hour of gaming before bed. I sit down at my computer and think to myself ''what should I play'', I scroll through my steam library and see a nostalgic icon; Mortal Online 2. I think to myself ''this is going to bring back so many great memories''. I click play and after a short 1GB update (theres been one patch since I quit playing in 2024) I'm in. I click enter nave, my hands are literally shaking from excitment..Loading nave. and im in. the first thing I see is a risar staring at me (I was in nightfall and we often logged out in the dungeon) I vanquish it with ease, ''i've still got it'' I think to myself. I clear the dungeon down to chieftan and start to open the boxes and barrels, in the right barrel I see. A. Blue. Book. My heart stops. I hover my cursor over it, its a risar dagger head. I'm taking damage. I thought I cleared all the risars, I quickly take the book and prepare for a fight; its too late im in mercy... The attacker opens up a trade window and puts every possible risar book in. I look at the name, it's Wicked; a piercing shrill echoes in chieftan room ''GET REKT'' as he subsequently executes me. Wicked was infact in the dungeon.
Even though you have been banned several times and your reputation is always in question this was some beautiful swordsmanship god damn no one can say anything bad about it.
Im so confused, videos great and all but your parrying is 1000x better than your feinting. How'd your parrying get so great in comparison to your feinting? Ive been playing for a month and hides+feints was like by far the first thing ive learned.
