Way before I met these cats, I frequented a nearby small business filled with cutout bins of vinyl. The proprietor was named Tom. Looking back, he was always friendly and unobtrusive because no one else was ever there. I knew Tom Horner a little bit but I never met Eugene before. All improvised by PEP and I tried to keep up.
Dieckmeyer's Bar is now known as Kicker's Corner, which is one of my very favorite hangouts. No brain sandwiches to be found these days, but plenty of great food and good people still.
wow this brings back memories! I was a kid when it came on, but I remember me and my dad ran into black jesus by Wade Funeral Home on Natty Bridge and Taylor. He was cool as a fan and funny too. Thanks for the video, lots of memories came back.
Jim Varagona thank you for the post. I was halfway familiar w the area. When I started in 85, I was an avid lp collector of sorts. a Mr. tom Taylor ran a walk up shop full of lps.
WHAT HAPPNED TO THE AUDIO ??? They're used to be sound to this video, the commercial for walmart has sound but when it goes to the video there is no sound... Even though Pete is dead is he being silenced again ??? :-)
I remember talking to an admiter about P . My takeaway is like he said. WWM is fun to see because, like it or otherwise, it has value as "artifacts of a changing city". Love it!
No Mustard, though. PEP was a P.I.T.A. Still grateful to have this last documented bits of the old South Side and world/ folks we used to know. Looking out across back alley at what was Diekmeyers/ Kickers and South Broadway. Do it right or don't do it at all
I recall the nearby way South Broadway club where Mahogany Rush packed the venue in evening. Whoa!

Oops..."admirer" of P's outlandish and street-legal POV. Honest, blunt, hardworking enough to get the episodes on air at all.
@KripDrip The late 1990s.
Good thing Pete put "a little" onion on it..
No Mustard, though.
