    Thanks, I agree about generating the abstract but for the rest, you forget that AI content will be identified as not being human content. So you can't take generated content as it is and do generated then copy/paste. It seems important to say this to your audience, who might be tempted by the ease of the process described to generate academic writing and could be penalized if the content was verified. Furthermore, this way of proceeding generates the least possible effort and does students a disservice. On the other hand, using ChatGPT to help synthesize, reformulate, correct and edit writing for non-native English-speaking students, etc., seems relevant for this purpose.

      I love your comment. Thanks so much.
      1: I still emphasize to use ChatGPT as an assistant in helping you achieve the work easily but not a replacement of your efforts as research is the reason we even have ChatGPT.
      2: About AI detection, I'm uploading a video on that next week to help people avert that.
      3: I strongly encourage using ChatGPT as an assistant but not you becoming the assistant.
      I haven't understood your comment about English speaking but I would be glad if you pardon me.
      Thanks again for your comment and suggestions

      I agree with this comment. It may be that essays should be phased out or supplemented by an oral exam. Or write some assessments in class. I'm thinking about doing this. There will be many students who don't understand their own work!

      @@AdvancedChatGPT AI detection is of great interest to me as an academic. Many of my students have English as a second language and some who don't face this barrier are worse! At present my university has decided to do NOTHING about the use of AI until the implications become clear. That day may never come as this technology is moving fast. I need to develop my own understanding of the matter. Previously we had to deal with students buying essays. Now they'll be buying work created by people skilled in using AI. This transitional phase should be lucrative for those who have these skills.

    Thank you for the video! I still have a question: which version of ChatGPT would you suggest to use for my thesis?

    • @AdvancedChatGPT
      @AdvancedChatGPT  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you can, the paid version is better which is $20 per month but even the free one is okay. The good thing with paid one, you can generate citations, do data analysis with visuals etc
