    I bought a $125 dollar on clearance Walmart backup cam. It’s been on a year, works flawlessly. I have one camera aimed directly behind for round baling and another off to the right hand side for mowing. My hips are not the best and looking back for many hours in a row isn’t fun. This was amazing.

    Have the same unit on my RV and I have a extra camera that I plan on putting on my Kuhns also ,thinking I will put a deep cycle battery in the cross plate and wire the camera into that and put it on a fused switch as a option ,other wise would have to have the lights on to power it

    • @DLHFarms
      @DLHFarms  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you checked to see if the center prong in the light cord has power on it when the key is on. It does on the tractor plug but not sure if the extension cord that Kuhns sends has the extra wire in it for that. I was planning to check and see if it does. If it does it could be hooked to that.

      @@DLHFarms was looking at the outside case/covering today hard to say with out taking it apart
      But thinking not likely. Can't get that lucky can we 😁😁

    • @DLHFarms
      @DLHFarms  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      All you have to do is get a test light turn on the key, ground the test light, open the cap and test for power on any of the prongs. I’m pretty sure it’s the center on that works with the key. If you find power at the tractor then check the same prong at the back of the baler. I would then turn off the key to make sure it goes off with the key.

    Front and rear cameras have been on my radar for a while... I think I'll just jump in and do it. I run a much smaller HLA 2000 blade, and they don't make optional side plates for it that I am aware. I would but them in a minute.

  • @20truck

    In the camera setup menu lower your frame rate slightly or lower the bit rate. The reason you're seeing a delay is there's a high resolution coming from your camera that it takes just a split second for it to travel through the air to get to your monitor, especially if it's a 4K resolution camera, by lowering the frame rate you decrease the amount of information that the camera is sending to the monitor or you can lower the bit rate which will do the same thing. A slight adjustment on either one of these will not lower your resolution to the point your eye can tell it but it will get your camera feed to the monitor faster and what you see on the monitor will be in real time with out any delay.

    Wow. Thanks for Sharing. A great idea for our Camper Trailer.

    • @DLHFarms
      @DLHFarms  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes a lot of people use them for that and most people get their power for the camera from the clearance light at the top rear of the camper only thing is you have to turn on your parking lights for it to work but that’s better than trying to fish a wire back there.

    Nice set up. Wanting to order me one to go on my Kuhn Accumulator also but can’t find any videos on someone showing you how they did that yet. Can’t wait to see how you mount yours. Have you been able to see if you can get any power back there to the camera if you mount it on the accumulator. Thank you for your time and keep up the great videos.

    They work really well on balers and when coupled to accumulators. Do they work in the dark at all - I somehow doubt it as they will likely require a light source.

    • @DLHFarms
      @DLHFarms  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      These have infrared light in the cameras so they can see in the dark to a certain extent.

    • @DLHFarms
      @DLHFarms  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I took the roof off the top of the cab and hooked it into the radio power up top and you can use a fuse tap to get power from the fuse box to go to the loader.
