Com até 601 cv e 820 Nm, o novo BMW i5 M60 xDrive não é, propriamente, um “Série 5 elétrico”, mas nem por isso deixa de ser a mais poderosa e emocionante versão 100% elétrica do novo Série 5, nem de honrar os pergaminhos do mítico “M” tricolor que faz parte da sua sigla. Quase um “míssil balístico”, cujos trunfos dinâmicos estão longe de esgotar-se nas suas prestações vertiginosas: mesmo não sendo possível menosprezar a sua capacidade para cumprir os 0-100 km/h em escassos 3,8 segundos, também não dá quaisquer hipóteses à concorrência direta em termos de eficácia dinâmica e de envolvimento ao volante - para isso muito contribuindo a tração integral, a suspensão desportiva e a direção às quatro rodas que oferece de série, a que se recomenda juntar a suspensão adaptativa, com barras estabilizadoras ativas.
