They were like ooooookaaaaaay, lol!!! I just know that if they would read the menu and try to pick something, they would be turned off by the descriptions. Even when I told them we were getting bone marrow, they were not feeling it. But after one bite, and then the other, they asked for me to order another one, lol!!!!! I'm always like, just try it - and if you hate then fine. But I know food, so trust me, this is GOOD! Til this day they are still talking about that place. --- So happy that you enjoyed the episode. Ooooooo yay you should definitely take a class. There are several different pottery studios in the Durham area, for all experience levels. It's so fun to kind of zone out and create something with your own hands. I truly love it and feel so good being back in practice! And yes, you must try Idle House. Such a cute place in a really amazing neighborhood. I suggest sitting for a bit with your donut and coffee, but once you're finished, take the rest of your coffee and just walk around the neighborhood. My sister and I drove around and we ooooh and ahhhh'd at all the beauitful houses.

As you saw, we had so much fun and if money were not a factor, we'd do that every weekend, lol!!!! --- Yea losing all that pottery crushed me. The amount of hours it takes to create even just 1 piece, let alone an entire collection is insane - so once I found out the horrible news, all I could do was walk out (shed some tears) and take a good long break. The time off was good for the soul because now I'm so happy to be back. --- Oh Mark ate most of those donuts! When I tell you he has a massive sweet tooth - he has a MASSIVE sweet tooth. So while me and T had a couple, the rest he gladly spent the week taking them down, lol!!! --- Oh yes, Ros is definitely that one person in my life that will tell me no, put that down, lol!!!!! Sometimes I listen....but not always, lol!!! She was right about the gravy bowl - but I still want that pig platter, lol!!!! Thanks as always for watching. I've had those sourdough donuts (glazed and salted caramel). So good. I will have to try the nutella one next time. Did you try the coffee? I had the matcha which I try to hard to like but....😫.
The nutella one is heaven! Based on the website, they made it seem like they were little donut holes with nutella filled in the inside - but they are regular sized donuts and so so good! I (of course) got an oatmilk lavendar latte and you can definitely tell that the simple syrup was handmade. I wish I would have mentioned that in the video!!!

I've had those sourdough donuts (glazed and salted caramel). So good. I will have to try the nutella one next time. Did you try the coffee? I had the matcha which I try to hard to like but....😫.
The nutella one is heaven! Based on the website, they made it seem like they were little donut holes with nutella filled in the inside - but they are regular sized donuts and so so good! I (of course) got an oatmilk lavendar latte and you can definitely tell that the simple syrup was handmade. I wish I would have mentioned that in the video!!!

Hi there!! Oh yes I’ll be making a lot of them and will be selling all of them in a sale hopefully in October! Typically nothing is over $40 as I try to make everything affordable! Sometimes if I have larger pieces, or items that take a ton of time, then those may be higher - but overall I feel like pricing is fair! Stay tuned for sale dates soon!
