What makes me laugh about this is that this was recorded before home studios and remote acting was a thing. So they literally had to call Tara Strong in for one line.

In this day and age. Shows that get revivals are usually a shell of their former selves. Examples being teen titans go, ben 10 reboot and the newest Scooby-Doo where Scooby-Doo isn't even a dog. Plus, they get filled with unnecessary stuff just for likes. So it's better for it to stay a gem as it was in a good era.
Because. Even Chowder needs to have that occasional person who is obsessed with the main character even though said main character has no interest in said Obsessed person to make it more interesting and Comedic to the Show. And because Panini is literally one of those people that no matter how hard you try to avoid them they're always right there.
There is an episode where he got extremely smart and then came to the realized that the food they were eating isn't even real food then came to the conclusion that the reason they were all weirdos and eat fake foods is that they are in a cartoon. Come to think of it, there was another episode where he mentioned that truffles and mung daal weren't in it. So they are all self aware.

There was even one where they spent all their money and after realizing that, they and no money means no animation. Then had a short live action segment of trying to raise funds doing a car wash to get the animation back.
