- In this video we are showing how to plant baby tut grass in a pond. Cyperus involucratus is an umbrella grass that has been used for many different things dating back to the days of Egyptian Kings. As it grew mainly by the Nile, it is a water hog such as the prince tut and king tut grass. The formers can reach heights of 4 to 6 feet.

I just got one of these, and am going to try planting it in a container with a raised platform on the inside of it, so that I can adjust how much water I will need to keep in the container. Thanks for the video - very helpful. You should consider making a 'nature' video of your water garden - the sound of the water running is very soothing, and would be beautiful to look at as well.
