I'm re-reading Poirot novels and have just finished «Sad Cypress». And AS USUAL, while reading it I went and bought some salmon paste (no poison in it). This novel has been my favorite for many years, and it still is great (though my favorite Poirot now is probably Five Little Pigs»). But the main character is still so charming and the murderer- ah, the murderer!
Loved this review - thank you so much - just bought The Regatta Mystery second hand and now am excited to read it! Agatha Christie has always been a favorite!
This is so much fun! You convinced me to read The Man in the Brown Suit. I'm listening to it on audio now. It sounds so good! I have a ton of Agatha Christie still to read. I'm excited! So far I've really enjoyed 4:50 From Paddington and the first and third Tommy and Tuppence stories (The Secret Adversary and N or M?). I like that those T&T stories are more thriller-y.
I'm so happy you posted this! I started reading one Agatha Christie a month a few months ago so of course, I had to join the read Christie challenge this year. The first book for this year was The Man in the Brown Suit and you are right. It's fantastic!!
Hooray! I’m so glad that you liked it too! There are so many twists and turns, and I loved the quirky romance. What Christie book are you going to read next?
I just finished The Man in the Brown Suit today, my first time reading it. It was a great one…packed with adventure. Also participating in Read Christie 2022. Agatha Christie is an all time favorite author for me. I have read many of her books, but not all (almost 30). Most of them I have not read for years, so slowly working my way through some re-reads, as well as “new to me”. I find her books so re-readable. Either I can’t remember “whodunnit”, or, knowing the killer, I can pick out the clues I missed the first time I read the book. I enjoy them all so much. I can’t pick a favorite book. My favorite Christie detective is Poirot. 🙂
How wonderful! I’m so glad that you like Man in the brown Suit! Yes, I also enjoy rereading Christie books for the same reasons. Her writing is so clever!

Great content structure! You also gave me more ideas for Agatha Christie. Three Act sounds real interesting.
Peril at End House was one of my favorite Christies last year!
She has so many books to choose from and I NEED to read more of them! So far my favorite is a Tommy and Tuppence, The Secret Adversary!
Unfortunately, I have never liked Tommy and Tuppence. They get on my nerves. I don’t know why! 🤷♀️
