hey man can you make a tutorial on how to find chord progression that will fit with the melody ? cus sometimes a have a nice melody but dont know how to harmonize it so it can sound coherent with the chords
heres a way to do it: Pick a scale which includes all of the notes used in the meldoy (if not all at least most of the notes). Then pick the first note of each measure, bring it down an octave and mess around with adding 3rds and 5ths. Also getting an idea of the type of chord progression is also useful. By this I mean whether your track sounds happy, sad, emotional, dark, scary etc. then decide for example the first chord will be minor, then major and so on and s forth. also i wont hurt to use some online resources. hope this helped
