Some more about Third North:
Each room differs based on what floor your on but this is pretty standard! There’s a really nice study lounge in the basement next to the laundry rooms. There’s also big screen TVs where you and your friends can watch Netflix all night instead of studying, plus a pool and ping pong table! Third North does have its own dining hall, the food at NYU is eat at your own ✨choice✨and there’s also a market in the courtyard to buy snacks with dining dollars.

I'm going to 3n in the fall and these might be dumb questions but 1 do we get a dresser and 2 do we get a microwave ourselves?

hey not at all! You get two dressers (4 drawers) and a closet space to hang your clothes too. The dorm comes with an oven and stove but not microwave :( hope that helps !!

Do you know what the difference is between this and the lost-cost housing option at third north?

to my knowledge low cost housing is the same room but you’re placed with more roommates! Typical rooms have 4 students per suite but low cost normally has 6 I believe.

It depends ! You might get a view of the courtyard or if you don’t have a corner room you might not get a view in your living room (but most bedrooms have windows!) The study lounge in c3 is really great and overall 3N is a good location. I would just say that sometimes the elevators and AC units breakdown, and some of the security guards can be really strict. If you have any other questions lmk !!
