Hendo is the machine that holds the team together now... Amazing performance against Barcelona... You don't need the most technically gifted player with the greatest vision to become the captain... you need a player who plays with his heart out and delivers his 200% everytime to lead others by example.. That was Henderson at Anfield against Barcelona that night.. Because that night was neither tactical nor planned... It was pure heart and never give up attitude... I mean you lost the top 2 goal scorers of the team when you need to overcome 3-0 deficit against the best team in the world and then at half-time you lose Robertson.. still you have the guts to wear a NEVER GIVE UP t-shirt..
It took literally 3 seconds for me to start crying . damn that smile at the end just made my day . what a pure soul! It's sad how most of us just take everything for granted and become petty and forget about the true things that matter in life.

Man City do the same home visits for long time fans. There is a beautiful one where Vincent Kompany visits two elderly ladies, Olga and Vera, both in their 90's. It's wonderful that these big clubs remember their supporters with this personal touch.
