Easy Calamari Recipe

  • Making my favorite appetizer from an Italian restaurant that I frequent often on Kaua’i, Hawai’i.
    Super easy!
    Ingredients:
    Calamari Rings & Tentacles
    Cabbage
    Tomatoes
    Green Onion
    Eel Sauce
    Spicy Aioli Sauce
    Teriyaki Marinade
    Corn Starch
    Frying Oil
    Defrost your calamari, then marinade in the teriyaki sauce for 1-2 hours.
    Coat with corn starch and fry until golden brown.
    Set aside on some paper towels to soak excess oil.
    Chop your head cabbage and place on a plate.
    Then place your fried calamari over the plate of cabbage.
    Dice your tomatoes, chop your green onions and put as little or a much as you want on top of the calamari.
    Add your spicy aioli and eel sauce!
    Voila!!! Enjoy
