Thank you so much, Levina :) Those Lassi were incredibly delicious. Varanasi has definitely some great food. Thank you so much for your support and wishing you a wonderful week 🍀✌️
What an incredible food tour of Varanasi! Those lassies omg had our mouths watering! They looked soooo good. The thali with the breads cooked in cow dung was extremely unique, what an experience. Followed by the chaat which looked so flavourful. Varanasi looks like an amazing city, we can't wait to visit someday. Thanks so much for sharing your food tour with us!
Thank you so much!! Varanasi is such a unique city that everyone should visit once in a lifetime. The food is uniquely delicious. I hope you guys will visit Varanasi one day. Thank you so much for your support 🙏🏻❤️

As a banarasi (native Varanasi) you read the comments and think how I am not enjoying that much.... Anyways Banaras (also known as Varanasi) is a place to live not just simple a tour. Live hear atleast 15-20 days. And you will found the real Banaras. Enjoy.
Thanks...need to try blue lassi for sure. From hardcore non-vegetarian food in Hyderabad to a variety of vegetarian fare in Varanasi...it is a tectonic shift.

Nothing beats Indian Food. Turkey is a baby civilization compared to 5k years old Indian civilization. Add another 15k years of Ramayan and Mahabharat.
You guys never go to good place in India and then you all complain about hygiene... Go to some good and hygienic places man I'm an Indian and from varanasi
My friend, its not cooked in raw cowdung😂. Its cooked from dried cowdung which has been burning and heating for almost 1-2 hours reaching temperatures of above 200 Fahrenheit to almost 300 wiping out 98-99% bacteria. And dried cowdung is sun dried for weeks. Bacteria needs food and water too mate. Before adding bread and cooking, its turned into essentially burnt carbon/charcoal and ash. Thats not harmful to most. Nobody is going to cook it into raw cowdung. The cook will refuse to be even in same space. Indians are humans too mate and gets sick like you. The fact it was a busting restaurant should tell you its not dangerous or unhealthy.
Don't know how you try some of them foods. I'm from India and freak out at what you eat from some of the unhygienic places. May all the luck be with you 😢
I'm from varanasi but I live in Mumbai. I went to varanasi last year after 10 years with my girlfriend and we went to all these places multiple times. You should've tried eating rabri jalebi as well and paan.

These are local village dishes limited to a certain part of the country. Though dried up cow dung doesn't smell or when burnt you can't identify any difference between dried cow dung or paper, cow dung is used in crops too..
It's just a source of fuel like coal.
If you are worried about smell then no it doesn't smell at all.
Cow dung cakes are used as fuel since ancient times in India.
Cow dunks have lot of elements which purify the inner body and in the whole world there is no compairision of cow dunk and cow pies
Nice😍
