This pattern is a little something I have been working on going into the winter months. This simple but effective Mysis Shrimp is ideal for those tailwater trout slurping crustaceans below your favorite man-made monstrosity. The lead eyes and slender profile make it a little bomb that sinks right into the fish's feeding zone. Tying in sizes 16-22 is advised. For your Colorado tailwaters focus on those 18's and 20's and choose your lead wire accordingly.

Nice job on this one. Are mysis shrimp found in most CO tailgaters or only a select few like the Blue and Frying Pan? I'm curious about the Unc below Ridgeway Res.

They are only in a select few reservoirs in Colorado including the two you mentioned. I don't see any reports on them being introduced into Ridgeway. CPW is pretty good about records around the introduction of Mysis.
