New Home Court to defend! Sounds like fans can impact game against visiting team. Once the player development center is complete, the whole package will help in recruiting. Thanks to both the Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs success to rally the Baylor Alumni and Waco Business community to support this amazing project. May the culture of Joy thrive in this new environment and Jesus Christ be glorified.
Concessions will be food trucks and bathrooms /port-o-John’s will be in place until end of January! Building on sand/clay river bed is challenging. Piers probably going 60ft!
It's a beautiful stadium, but I don't understand why we would make it 7,500 max capacity when we average about 8,500/game at the Ferrell Center. Sounds like very limited student seating which is concerning for the atmosphere. Hope I'm wrong.
@@jmantothemax9884 Meh, even if that's accurate an extra 1,000 empty seats (when 2,500 are already empty) won't make a significant difference. I'm still not convinced that was a good decision.
@@jmantothemax9884 Wow you average 5,000 on week night games?!?! Kansas has sold out our 16,000 capacity arena for almost 30 years straight starting under Roy williams.
@@douglasharwood3465 That's nice, the following teams average a higher attendance than Kansas: Syracuse, Kentucky, Arkansas, UNC, Tennessee, Creighton, and Wisconsin.
Yeah, I understand all that, I am a student rn. For big games, it's gonna be hard to get tickets. The past two years when Kansas came to town my friends could not get tickets and any time there is a Saturday night game for the most part its hard to get tickets. @bobbleheadbob
This is very nice but looks nowhere near ready to host games in 2 weeks. I think it would've been better to wait until next season when everything would be complete.

Baylor has quite possibly the most beautiful football/basketball facility combo in the nation.
This is pretty cool!

Where’s the water slide 🛝 to the river? Bush league bro! 😂🤣😁
What will the experience be for fans who have disabiities (parking, seating, carts, etc...
Did he say Foster Pavilion has more of a “Downtown” feel? So I guess that means they are not building this in Waco. 😂😂😂

The reason it's smaller is because on a weeknight they average like 5,000 making it a bad atmosphere

Its gonna be impossible for students to get tickets to good games but at least it looks better than the Ferrel.
