i would've made an alternative ending where, after he fell, Keith didn't leap to save him but he did survive cause Cosmo saved him and he hid near the campsite and heard them talking about him(Keith is walking down the cliff now) and they are not being the nicest then Keith comes back and says 'lance is dead' and everyone suddenly feels bad about how they talked about him, but as they were packing up, Pidge had to check the woods for any trash, cause save the Earth, and she heard something and followed the sound and it was lance. Your imaginations can figure out the rest or I'll edit it.
