It’s a great catch. But even Steven Spielberg revealed himself in the phone booth scene in his first film called “Duel” starring Dennis weaver. So it’s acceptable to me. Yes, I’m sure movie producers would love someone specializing in catching those before releasing their shows or movies. This show gets so good as we progress.
Speaking as a film editor, y'all are *right* on the money about the blooper with the crew member. The way I was taught, you take notes about your *first* reaction to every take, and you trust those notes to guide your editing decisions. Maybe the twentieth time you see a take, you think, "oh, there's a scrap of black gaff tape stuck to that dark purple wall!" But you're not editing for people who've seen the take twenty times, you're editing for an audience watching for the first time. And if your original notes for that take were "this line delivery is heartbreaking and real" then you trust that. But then there are people like Maple who ruin everything because they're too dang perceptive 😤😤
Im telling you this duo is the best. Ive noticed it the first time i watch their reaction on breaking bad and peaky blinders. Maple is always in tune with the present things (catching hidden stuff that is hard to notice in some scenes) while Arianna is always in the future stuff (always right when predicting moments before it shows on the screen). DietJesus all the way! 😃❤️
a) Alarm systems were commonplace in suburban homes, even more modest than the Kettleman's, a decade before the timeline of the show. b) There's no way Mike can't get past an alarm system. He's Mike "fu¢k!ng" Ehrmantraut.
Yeah, you would be a good "Continuity Artist". Yeah, that's what it is called. Someone that catches all the mistakes in filming (editing), like airplanes flying over in a period film before airplanes. Or simple things like changing the time on clocks when time in the movie progresses. However, most films nowadays don't bother to hire continuity artist anymore. Money I guess? Movies used to always hire continuity artist. Hence mistakes like when Game of Thrones left Starbucks coffee cup in a scene.
The Kettlemans are reverse Walt and Skyler. Betsy is the one running things and, in the end, the one decision that saves them is Craig finally speaking up thinking of the kids.
Both parents going to jail or prison means the kids would go into foster care, probably. To quote that scene from Heat, "Fucked, for LIFE". Because then the kids are traumatized and institutionalized, then they commit some sort of crime because their parents are criminals, now they're stuck in the system themselves, through no fault of their own for the most part.
regarding the kettlemans, I always think how interesting it is, that at the end of the day, as much as much as wife pushes the husband around, when there really is no other play, the husband speaks up, for the sake of the kids. As much as a push over he his with his wife, he does have some integrity when it comes to the kids.
A short film, that the film BCS crew was able to make about the Kettlemen's future. th-cam.com/video/Iv_uB9xrdkg/w-d-xo.html Kinda changes your perspective on them. At least it did for me.
The Kettlemans are such wonderful idiots. It's so impossible to be sympathetic to Betsy, and it's so easy to be sympathetic towards the husband. And they stand absolutely no chance against Ermentraut.
I remember watching the first season and beginning to wonder when Saul would come into the show. It's done so perfectly that I didn't even notice it. When *THAT* moment finally happens, I'm actually shocked as depicted in the show.
That was a crazy catch on the cameraman, I've watched so many reactions and never noticed that, good job
I always admired this show for it's camera work, and the lighting is pitch perfect

That's because they're easily distractable, they're not listening to the dialogue or really paying attention to what's going on.
@@yournamehere6002Maple catching that cameraman is crazy.
She 100% said "Diet Jesus" this time 🤣
She does a little trolling.
"The bribe... We're back to calling it a bribe, right?" I love that line so much.

22:38 You guys are the first reactors to see that cameraman lol, I remember it took years after the episode's airing before someone posted about it
"Mike Montages" has got to be one of the best parts of the Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul universe.
I’ve watched this whole show 3 times and I’ve never seen that camera guy before
Catching that camera man is crazy....
Now: when does he become Saul. Later: I miss Jimmy, be Jimmy again.

Betsy and Craig always remind me of if a cat and a dog got married.
I'm interested to see how they feel about Howard moving forward, I definitely got taken for a ride with him
Mike's superpower is patience, and I absolutely loooove the way they show it!
Maple's observation skill is insane.
On Howard: "I don't like him"
Just wait until later. Opinions may change.
He's absolutely amazing. Definitely my favorite character in this show.
I've rewatched this episode like dozen times & never caught that oopsie with the cameraman in the reflection before!🤣

Which scene? Lol
Jimmy gave up what he gave up for Kim because Jimmy would give up almost anything for Kim at this point in time.
16:14 Kettleman wrote the fake checks TO HIMSELF lolllllllll amaze

Look, we have Miss Space Alien here! ☺️
My favorite scenes are when Jimmy cuts down arrogant clients, like Kettlemans and Pinkmans’ parents 😆
"Humans are so funny!" .... Hmmmm thats sus😂

So much respect for Betsy. If someone keeps saying that they didn't do it, clearly they didn't do it. Why would she lie?
Good for her. Admit nothing.
Every time I watch one of your videos I can help but hear “hey guys, Welcome back to Diet Jesus.”

"This is so complicated"
Sums up 90% of the episodes
17:58 People have had security systems since the 70's
these early episodes are hard to watch cause I hate seeing people hate my boy Howard🥲
Word
Howard my Goat deserves better 😔
Well he was kind of a dickhead cuz this was before the writers gave him any depth
Lions fan??? Hell yeah
Nice Lions shirt! Let's go Detroit!
10:05 they don't call her "Kettle-Mommy" for no reason

The only totally genuine 100% likeable character in the whole law firm is Kim Wexler.

What about Lalo?..
what about Ernesto man cmon
@@antonnovo695 Lalo is not in Hamlin, Hamlin, and McGill. (HHM).
@@Z3r0_890 Howard got to be a more sympathetic character as the series went on. Not as much in the beginning.
Don't you dare say anything against Howard. Howard is the best character in the entire BB universe.
At this point in the seriess, a lot of viewers had something against Howard. Gotta let ppl come to conclusions organically, as the story unfolds.
