System 7 at New Day Festival 2023 August 19th 2023 approx. 30 min excerpt of the set.

WARNING : LOTS of flashing lights - NOT for the strobeophobic. Hopefully an afficionado of this band might be able to identify segment/piece names within the set here - their music is on Spotify and band details here : en.wikipedia.o.... it is my sense that they helped draw a younger crowd among the ex-70's teens (now, like myself, drawing or not far from, their pensions) that mostly populate the crowd at New day in years past. It IS a festival for all and some do bring their kids, grandkids and dogs to this friendly and relaxed event. See also anewdayfestiva.... Watched another clip on here........nice to see/hear him do some Steve Hillage stuff as well as System 7...i was a bit surprised they did'nt book Steve Hillage band(i have been to this Festival a few times)..and feel that would have been a better fit.Maybe Mr.Hillfish was briefed by organisers and came up with this hybrid..........

Would totally agree...........I .have been a Gong fan for over 50+ years....and think their best work was with Mr.Hillfish..loved Fish Rising and his live stuff around that time..@@Splinkvision
