- 5 Spring Wild Edible Greens in Asheville, North Carolina. Stinging Nettles, Onion Grass, Chickweed Recipe
Early Spring foraging of Stinging Nettles, Chickweed, Onion Grass, Violet greens and red dead nettles. Next, I cook up a pizza in a bushcraft tarp shelter set up. I start out with the scallion pancake recipe and build a pizza from there. Foraging wild edibles in Asheville, North Carolina. Southeast U.S. Region

Loved this. I have absolutely no knowledge of wild edibles. That pizza really looked great though! The crust reminded me of bannock
This is the prettiest pizza!! I definitely need to up my wild greens game! 👏👏
Really enjoyed the video! Good plant knowledge and cooking demo! Subscribed.
I learned about all the health benefits of stinging nettle. I live in Central NC. I'm trying to figure out what they look like. I may have to plant some seeds next year in my garden. Thanks for all of your info.
Great video looking for those wild herbs, thank you so much for all the info. Now I know what to look for in my yard and use it in my kitchen cooking.
Thank you so much Sandra! I hope you find some good wild plants to add to your recipes!

That crust sounded amazing when you bit into it. Thank you for explaining the herbs as you found them. Super informative and also interesting!
Thanks Shanna! The crust was amazing, I'm glad I made it so thick.

I too love foraging and can always find good food. Thank you for sharing. I had a sandwich at said resturant and the bathroom has been the main hangout for nearly a week. Be careful.
This sounds delicious! I really need to buckle down on learning more wild edibles especially in my area. Great video new friend! We got you back thanks for your support! Much love-TTO

I'm heading to the smokies this week. I can't wait to see if spring has sprung there !
Thanks awesome Josh! It should be perfect spring weather in the Smokies this week.
Have you ever done any wild foraging in Alaska?
No, I have never been to Alaska, but I'd love to go forage there one day.
Great video, let's help each other
Very informative thank you. Keep it up
I am glad you enjoyed it! I will!
I have all of those in my mountain. I kill them because they are weeds 🤣
the wild onion has a copycat
Great video! I love a nice veggie pizza, so a wild greens version is sure to be tasty. I've only cooked nettle in soup, so I'll have to give this a go. By the way, you're Italian accent might need a little work, lol. ;)
Thanks! Nettle soup is delicious too. Haha my Italian accent was intentionally bad.
It’s amazing how the plants you usually want to avoid in nature can be used in food
It's certainly interesting! Poison ivy is still inedible though. haha
