Thanks so much for all of the recommendations, Ric! I was already a fan of the Easy Italian youtube channel and Duolingo, but you've inspired me to look into other things to keep inspired in learning Italian! I've also found that watching Netflix with italian audio or subtitles and making a journal entry in italian every day is great for me. Hope you're having a great week!

Prego, Chloe! Yess Easy Italian is fab.
Ooh thank you, I’m definitely going to try the journaling technique, maybe writing todo lists as well. Netflix too, thanks for the ideas. I may make a video on these in the future :)

Last year, I learned Italian around one month before I went to Italy for a few days. Did not use it a lot as I am still a beginner, but at least I understand the culture and some basic words. I stopped learning but I want to continue learning Italian. Grazie for sharing your experience!

Hi, I’ve been learning Italian for over a year now too. I like the video idea but for me it absolutely didn’t work the way you recommended here.
Duolingo or Babbel ( I used them in the beginning too) are the worst way to learn a language (at least in my opinion) because who talks about the size of an elephant on a daily basis. I recommend HelloTalk. Get yourself a partner who you can speak and text to every week, because speaking is most important to actually learn the language. On the way you should learn the grammar and vocab little by little (10 vocabs per day are enough). It is important to not learn words like oven or mirror in the beginning but words you actually use on a daily basis like „nevertheless “ or „because“.
Keep in mind this is just my approach but I wanted to share it hoping it might help someone :)

Assolutamente! Speaking is definitely one of my goals, together with reading. My next video will be on speaking so keep your eye out!
Good tips 😍 I was going to experiment with italki but now I’ll look at Hellotalk. Grazie mille!

Great video Thanks. Reading Italian ( especially out loud to practice pronunciation) has been a big help for me.

Il tuo video e molto utile! I keep forgetting particles when I try to speak without using a dictionary. That is something for me to work on. Grazie mille!

Prego, di nulla! Si, le particelle sono molto difficili. Grazie for learning and sharing with me!

Ciao :) Si! It's ready to go, but Google Play is being slow to approve the app. I've added a waiting list to the website now: lingopaper.com/download
If you sign up I will let you know when it's live in the Google Play store. Buona giornata!

it takes years to become fluent in a language, literally. We live in a fast food culture life style, where everyone goes to school and should expected to become in multiple subjects, by learning some theoretical superficial knowledge.

Patience is key. And the only way to be patient is to enjoy the process. Thanks for watching :)
