Had 2 kicker comp r’s they can def kick so much when you go down the street it will rattle peoples windows, you need more power, but I’ve already blew 2 of mine
@@youngbarber7227 I doubt that it has an xmax much more than 10mm, plus in a sealed/PR box, the air suspension is going to be fairly tight.. Sub isn't going to flex that much.

Hi, I just bought the same Kicker 12" but it sounds shitty. I installed an EDGE amplifier. 800 W RMS. But it sounds weaker than my previous JBL BandPass 275 W RMS. Anyone experienced this thing?
There's too many variables for someone to tell you why.. But I can start by saying that a Kicker Comp RT can only handle about 500 watts rms, so if you stuck 800 watts on it, you may have blown it?

Do you know another brand like this type of subwoofer? I mean the slim type subwoofer. But a good one. I'm already disappointed of Kicker.
No they aren’t, if they were down firing the box would have a protruding edge around it. I have 6.85 compRT’s in my doors and they make my car sound amazing up front.
