1:40 is the point where arm over rotation and return is demonstrated perfectly by all members. This sort of attention to detail makes it very apparent that they worked hard to capture the vibe of the original. There are really good covers out there but this one has all the necessary details. Other covers get close to that over rotation move but this one nails it.
Damn you could know this dance was so intricate. You are giving that detached surreal vibe yet when you interact with the camera you captivate the viewer, its magical! I watched a few other covers and even though their setup, dancers, clothes are really good there is something about your video that gives a unique vibe! It’s kinda dreamy idk how to explain it - i love that the tone isnt warm and more blue-ish. I think its also the sharpness of the moves. Like in the “you dont even know my name do ya” parts, you guys managed to keep the sharpness of the hand moves without looking too flowy in your movement overall. I loved it when someone would stare at the camera and suddenly turn away and leave us looking for the next face that’d sing to us. Omg i have SO MUCH to say! I think it was the camerawork too. I hate the ultra-super-sayan cameras that have high quality but move sooo much. Like i get dizzy. But this one kept it simple, though there were moments where it leaned into the dancers faces and stayed there for a while in different angles before giving us a different scene. It was so so well done, i doubt the people watching knew how lucky they were to see it live. Clap clap clap to you guys!!!!
