    Thanks for demonstrating dry ice blasting in such divergent ways. What is the name of the machine and the nozzle types you used? I am looking to purchase this.

    If you are doing a whole car, cleaning the floor mats is just part of the job.

      The video was for shits and giggles, no one will use a $100k+ dry ice blasting setup to clean a car like this

    Watching the amount of ice forming on the carpet makes me wonder if the air supply needs to be dryer. What is your desiccant solution?

    • @iglcoatingsau
      @iglcoatingsau  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi mate, the air supply has a dryer, ice normally forms from the humidity already in the substrate. If it is 90% humidity outside and you dry ice blast a fabric/carpet you can only assume that the carpet/fabric will have humidity in the fibres

    What kind of compressor is needed and do you recommend a stronger one so that I could get a better cut if I needed to?

    • @iglcoatingsau
      @iglcoatingsau  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This compressor isn't sufficient but we do have a comp air C50 on order

    Do steam clean/extraction vs dry ice on floor mats that would be a neat comparison

    • @iglcoatingsau
      @iglcoatingsau  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My personal preference is to extract vs dry ice blast, ultimately the dry ice blaster will clean the surface but extractor will suck out the dirt from the fibers better. If the opportunity arises I will make the video you suggested
