I remember who my first Sunday school teacher was. He was my cousin David. His original students were:
1. Me.
2. My cousin Josh. (Older cousin on Mommy's side of the family 👪.)
3. My cousin Alex. (Younger cousin on Mommy's side of the family 👪.)
4. My cousin Ruth. (David's little sister.)
5. My cousin James. (David's little brother.)
6. My cousin William. (David's little brother.)
7. My cousin Martha. (David's little sister.)
8. My cousin Katie. (David's little sister.)
9. My cousin John. (David's youngest brother.)
10. My cousin Sarah. (David's youngest sister.)
11. My cousin Ben. (My aunt Joanne's oldest son.)
12. My cousin Esther. (My aunt Joanne's oldest daughter.)
David started teaching Sunday school the first time he became a teenager 😳. He isn't a Sunday school teacher anymore 😳, but I really want him to do it again 😢. He is such a good teacher 😀, he's very nice 😀, and he connects easily with children 😀. He is now 38 years old 😀 and he quit teaching Sunday school a very long time ago. On my first day of Sunday school, David introduced me to Psalm 23, which automatically became my favorite Bible verse. I loved my cousin so much that I wanted to be part of his Sunday school class all my life, but when I was 15 years old, Mommy told me that I'm too old for David's Sunday school class. I told her that I will only graduate from David's Sunday school class when my youngest brother Jeremiah starts going to Monday through Friday school. Jeremiah was very sad that I was gonna graduate from David's Sunday school class along with my other little brothers Joseph, Seth, and Zach. We were sad, too, but I told Jeremiah that if he ever gets nervous or scared, I will sit with him and make him feel safe. So I sat with him often. I explained to my parents that Jeremiah was nervous and scared and that I needed to sit with him to make him feel safe. They understood it.
