Quick tip, instead of taking a picture, use the notes app on your iPhone. Within the app, click on the camera, and select scan. The image turns out so much better than a picture, I use this for my watercolors.
Question. New to my Circuit Maker 2. If you are cutting the file, what is the purpose of changing the color of the smile? Will this change the way my image cuts?
I wish you would show how to do it all through a phone. I have an android. I never use my laptop. I really want to make a svg of my own drawing for design space and at least 2 colors and an outline in black. I'm still learning how to use design space especially since the changes.
Hi. Thanks for the video. I have a question. My son did a similar drawing " stick figure" I want to print on a t-shirt. How can I make the lines thicker so you can actually see them on the shirt?
it would cut fine!! Maybe with a few jagged edges, but good for the most part. This would probably be MOST preferable in a print then cut project though
I love your information but please slow down when you talk, hard to catch all what you say concerning the steps. I may be slow for 70 but I am learning a little by little.
We understand. If you'll click on the settings icon while watching a video, and click "playback speed" and click one level above "normal" to 0.75, you may have a more enjoyable experience.

Thanks for the tip!
I have an android, and don't have a camera in my notes app. I have a scanner though, so I'll try that!
whoah.. the moments the circle lights reflect in the center of your glasses, right over your eyes.. make it look like theyre glowing!.. lol..

Thank you so much for this video! My husband and I create drawings and I really want to design things for personal use.
Wonderful!❤
Great video tutorial. Thank you
You're welcome!
Becca! This is great! I have a few hand written recipes from my mom that would make a fantastic project! 💜
Wonderful! So glad you'll be able to use this tutorial!!
Importing the image as a simple image rather than complex massively reduces the specs left behind after removing the background! X
Love this! I can't wait to try this with old recipes.
Hope you enjoy!
Love it!!! Thank you Becca!!!!

I don't get the option to select image type or all the other tools. do I need another program for those?

Can you save the SVG to the computer instead of saving in design space?

Try using offset to increase the line thickness
Can you do this with a color image that you photograph like a company logo?
We don't recommend that. The image (whether that's a drawing or a recipe) needs to be super simple in terms of colors and shades.
I’m interested to know how would this image cut?

Thank you for the video. It did work for me! Nice to learn about other options for use.
What about dong this with the Brother Scan n Cut? Because it scans this right?
I wish you would have shown how to do this on your iPhone as I use my iPad with Cricut.
I assume I can use my scanner and import that way./?
Sure!
Can you do a regular picture like this?
That's not recommended. Best to use photos like this: th-cam.com/video/qqplJQnskIo/w-d-xo.html
