If Hisoka dies of a heart-disease would his Nen keep jumpstarting his heart over and over again, leaving him bouncing like a fish on land for years to come? I like to think it would.
Well you know Hisokas bungee gum has both the properties of rubber and gum

Netero's death is perfect in terms of narration ; but damn how I wish he had a post-mortem Nen just to see his magnificent Hatsu one last time...
That would be cool but honestly I feel like a super toxic nuke works better for the narrative in this case
Neteros post mortem nen was nuclear fallout.
Maybe he did use post mortem nen? Remember how he looked like a demon to meruem with that smile? -what if "zero hand" used all his life force (which is why he looked so shriveled) and post mortem nen brought him back so he could activate the Little Rose?
His Ren was enough to strike fear into Meruem's heart so that's even better to me.

Post-mortem nen was mentioned early on in the Yorknew ark, being the main reason for the troupe not killing Kurupika after nerfing Chrollo
True, also, Is post-mortem nen also related to Kite’s situation?
@@sadath.s Unknown -.- Perhaps
@@sadath.s Ging stated that a slot number will come up if Kite really didn't want to die so most likely its due to the Hatsu, but it may have had effect after his death.....
@@sadath.s probably. Since Ging said that a special number will only come up when Kite doesn’t want to die, his desire to be alive after death can be considered as a case of post-mortem Nen
@@sadath.s that's a maybe. We've never received an answer, however is been implied his crazy slots may have reincarnated him.
And if this is the case this may be a use or post mortem nen as the activation requirement is kites death.
While normally not something you willingly invoke post mortem nen can act as a part of an actual hatsu.
Post mortem nen is so different from normal nen. Glad someone explained it, because I have so much trouble explaining it to my friends
post mortem nen is all about nen after death. There are a lot of post mortem users in the current manga...

@@hollowvlad1532 i'm ok with it
I'd like to point out that Post-Mortem Nen was first mentioned since Kurapika used Judgement Chain on Chrollo and that the emotions that Hisoka, the Second and First Prince use on their Post-Mortem nen is determination or tenacity.
Can you rank the troupe?
Not a normal ranking based on strength but maybe based about how much do you like their hatsu from least interesting to your favorite,or maybe ranking them based about how much you like each one of them.
Also I think that zombie hisoka implied a restriction in his nen that he can use bungee only against the troupe ( counting himself as a member too)
And that’s why he made illumi join so he can fight him too.
I think hisoka's nen make him revive with the only desire to kill Chrollo as a revenge, because their match in the reavens arena was unfair, and that fight was hisoka's dream
I personally think that Chrollo and Hisoka will kill each other in a re-match
Bruno Henrique hisoka literally stands no chance if he ties or wins imma call bs
It would be really sad if Hisoka simply dies to chrollo again
@@Veryveryinteresting23 I think it would be a better end if Hisoka and chrollo kill each other in a final fight
"if you strike me down i shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine" - Obi-Wan is a Nen user
Fun Fact: Jesus was the first to use post-mortem nen.
AAHAAHAHAHAAH Omg
You finna go to hell with that comment.
@J Lebleu we are already in hell . ;D
You got it, "God and anime" kid! 👍🏻
Bruh jesus stans overhype the manga way too much. Like it's an obvious knock off of hxh. I mean divine powers and resurrection after death? Come on,,,
I think that Hisoka’s main emotional drive that triggered post mortem nen was his own faith in the Bungee Gum hatsu. Hisoka’s main purpose in his life is to crush strong opponents but this adds a new element to his motivation. The Magician’s main objective is directly tied to defeating strong opponents because he wants to become the best fighter he can. He wants to push his nen and himself to their absolute limit which gives plenty of emotional drive to trigger post mortem nen.
Hisoka was charged by the emotion of

:D glad to hear it!
@@NewWorldReview how strong would you say Hisoka is now? Because I thought he can use bungee gum and texture surprise before in his kastro fight
I think that Pitou's postmortem nen was just to kill Gon, so after killing him the deed would be done and so the postmortem nen.
That's exactly how it works
You don't have to bring us great HxH content so often. I really hope you don't run out of ideas, 'cause this channel is one of those I watch more frequently, but I'm in for more space between videos so you don't become exhausted.
The crazy thing about hxh is that with each chapter there's like 3 or 4 chs worth of content to discuss lol
I'd say that Kacho's Nen beast is also an example of post-mortem Nen, but one that was not devised by her consciously. Rather, it was post-mortem Nen done in her behalf and image.

Well everything except for one Piece
plot twist: Gyro brought the chimera ants
What about Kite? I believe the number he got was supposed to bring him back alive if he had died. That's why he said good choice when he got. The danger was that bad
It was post mortem Nen consciously set by Kite. The number was definitely set with the Condition that Kite must die.
I hope the manga resumes this year.. Can't wait to see all post mortem users like Camilla in full action... TBH there are a lot of post mortem nen users in the current manga
Was rewatching some hxh clips, and I think post-mortem nen is first referenced by Phinks at the end of the Phantom Troupe arc. Gon asks him why they aren't going after Kurapika, and Phinks replies that if killed, it's possible that Kurapika's nen will linger after death and grow more powerful, possibly lashing out at Chrollo in the process.
There were more instances of post mortem nen in the series, like the troupe not following kurapika because of his chain in chrollo's heart, the chance of meleoron's body being invisible even after death, or the kakin ceremony in itself.
Togashi's post mortem nen summons a beast capable of fully finishing drawing Hunter x Hunter's manga in a single week.
that just shows how talented hisoka really is. And in his one shot origin there's a hint that he's on par with ging in term of talent. Probably non-canon but still
Chrollo is just Togashi's chocolate box of nen abilities, change my mind.
On a more serious note, I wonder if anything happened Gon? Ging stated that Gon's nen was "just fine" when he met Gon, but Gon couldn't use it, perhaps having to relearn the process or being forbidden from using it because of what he became. Either way, Gon looked like in a state of limbo before Nanika revived him. Now, I personally don't think that Gon got the Post-mortem Nen boost by Nanika since Gon wasn't, technically, dead. But it's fun to think about.
I was so happy to see a new video from you in my recommendation
because there are deaths in hunter x hunter ... togashi used that to make nen after death abilities unlike other manga and comics
This might seem like a bit of a cop out but regarding Camilla's and Hisoka's lack of strong emotions, couldn't the reason for their employing of post-morterm nen be that they are willing to die to fulfill their goals. Think about it; dying for the sake of completing your task is the ultimate sacrifice and is true testament of one's resolve. Based on that reasoning, post-mortem nen can be activated.
Hey NewWorldReview thanks for making this channel! We have been in need of a good HxH channel here on YT & you clearly put a lot of thought into your vids! Thanks!
Post mortem Nen probably was probably the best addition for the series. Is a great power up,that sounds amazing.
We were told of post Morten nen sorta before Pitou right? When they were talking about not being able to kill kurapika as his chains would stay after death and perhaps be stronger.
Maybe that super scary smile Netero shows meruem was an example of post mortem nen maybe Netero died with his "zero hand" technique and post mortem nen brought him back to activate the little rose?
You should make a video talking about Nen users that was not revealed their category and speculate what you think their are, based on what we have seen! For us compare some thoughts
I don’t think hisoka’s nen was a postmortem ability, we’ve seen from ging’s record at the start of the series that it’s possible to give nen a command to execute under certain conditions, I think hisoka’s act of revival made us of that instead of a postmortem ability
That's possible although without post mortem nen, aura generally fades after death.
Togashi hiatus nen also get stronger after every hiatus
I wouldn't call it a new development... the idea is introduced all the way at the end of Yorknew when Killua and Gon encounter Feitan and Phinks at the auction of Greed Island
and what about the ''sacrifice'' the king of Kakin Empire going to do using all the passengers of the ship like he said?
Am ine He's safe until the new King is chosen. After the new King is chosen, the current King doesn't have any other purpose, so he wouldn't want to be revived.
@@kleozane2781 i heard about a theory that said there is an only one king of Kakin in all time one king always sacrificing his children the 14 of them to become immortal
we saw in that chamber where the king put his child when she died
if there is a survival why there is 14 instead of13 coffins 🤔
Am ine Hmmm. They sure are shady. But for certain this succession war isn't going like the others, with Nen users like Tserreidnich or smth and double Nen beasts
yes n ofc with the whole dark continent thing
hope Togashi continues his work
@@Amin-e. I heard somewhere that he would be alright by supervising the anime, with no manga because it is too much of strain for him. He will still direct fights and dialogue tho, so I hope this happens.
How the tone shifted in the opening XD
Moses has an overwhelming Nen abilities but similar to Kurapika his Nen only affects certain people in his case the Egyptians.
You forgot Kite ! He was able to resucite thanks to one of his rolls on crazy slots, and that's because he really did not want to die when he encountered Pitou
Ever made youre own Hatsu, i wonder?
ITS FUN and always generates Hype in whatever comment-section it is done.
I think camillas ability is restricted by range and has to stay near the corpse. Which could be an advantage and disadvantage on a boat
Yes, but more importantly: Her Nen is definetly and surely resetting and not getting stronger each
time she dies.
I hope you make a video about the hunter organization.
Since Gon used 'all' of his Nen, I think it is debatable that he used his post-mortem nen in his adult transformation as well.
Bungee gum has both the properties of rubber and gum
Just here to thank NWR for the great content. Looking forward to any HxH or ANY anime video you put out, bud!
Strange , I was expecting he would talk about prince Kamila elite guard of women that cast a curse on their target after death.
F**k yes! I've been waiting for this, thank you bro
I Think there lot of people in Dark continent doing searchs, Don probably isnt alone and this people may even be some of the hunters that never came back, and even Zigg may be writing a book.
i love that you use 'they' for pitou... i've seen she and he, but they works best i think
Post-Mortem nen, while not mentioned by name, was a concept introduced at the end of the Yorknew City Arc. The reason the Phantom Troupe decided not to kill Kurapika was because they were afraid that if they, did his nen would grow stronger after his death and they would never be able to remove the curse he put on Chrollo.
What do you think of the Newest Instance of Post-Mortem-Nen?
i just thought of something , maybe the guys from meteor city used sun and moon to take revenge for the guy wrongfully imprisonned, in the manga they that they used bombs with switches...
Doesn't/didn't Kite also have post-mortem nen? or was he just reincarnated like the other chimera ants? 🤔
It's very difficult to say if it was post mortem nen, but Kite's reincarnation was almost guaranteed to be his crazy slots ability because his body was never fed to the chimera ant queen due to Pitou wanting to use it for entertainment. it could have been though! Good point!
@@NewWorldReview yeah we didn't really get too much info on that only a *LONG* trippy philosophical monologue of that Koala Bear Chimera Ant. 😑
It was definitely post mortem Nen. Revival abilities are in line with the other uses of post mortem Nen.
I’m pretty sure Komugi and Meruem will be playing Gungi forever thanks to their post mortem nen
A video about curses next? And maybe camilla's crew of "untouchables"
isnt that post mortem nen?
@@xXx-un3ie yeah its a subtype. And he didn't talk about it here, so it'll probably get its own video
The Untouchables' ability is so interesting
First-Mortem Nen was created to best Chrollo and MAYBE the Blue Mage Ging and those who are benefited with this are Nen users with "companion/tamer skills" as Pitou, Knuckle, Kite... MAYBE omission nen users could use this concept as a skill since they could use "dead" parts filled with nen and can connect it with will of the leaving in it (just my thoughts doh)
I see you failed to mention Camilla's troupe of dedicated Post-mortem nen assassin's.
I kind of think the ability to push past a natural fear of death, or a willingness to make use of death may play into hisoka and Camilla s hatsu
It would be interesting to see a Post-mortem Nen Hunter specializing in the exorcism of post mortem nen spectres
???

Hisoka didn't heal the damage he's got from Chrollo. His ability just made him cover his wounds, the same trick he used against Castro.
Agreed. He died by suffocation, that was specifically mentioned. Due to not being fatally damaged was he able to return.
Nah, that was actual plastic surgery and reconstruction he was basically able to perform on himself with his now supercharged aura. He lost a whole foot in his fight against Chrollo. If the repairs he made on himself were just for show, he would never have been able to move the way he would need to to kill both Shalnark and Kortopi the way he did.
@@Ebon_Sean His ability doesn't allow him to create new flesh out of nen. Yes, he was able to stop the bleeding but his flesh wounds are still present under texture surprise. His rubber foot now gives him an extra boost so it actually made him stronger.
My point still stands.
@Broly The Sarcastic Savage I don't know why is that reply aimed at me. I never stated otherwise but ok.
@@Sam-fq5qu Has that been confirmed by Togashi or definitively displayed somewhere in the chapters that I just somehow missed? Or is that just conjecture based on what you know about nen and how it works, as well as Hisoka's character? Because post-mortem nen would hardly be the first dynamic in nen to toss preceding constraints out the window once introduced into the situation. Not saying you're wrong, I'm just not ruling out that I'm right and his rubber prosthetics are viable replacements for limbs.
First post morten nen that appears is ubogin that is explained in 1999 anime much better and implemented on chimera ants in new anime.
Awesome video :) would argue that Kacho & Without You are also huge examples of post-mortem Nen, especially as Kacho had to actually die for it to work.
& I'd even go so far as to say that Netero used essentially "mortem" Nen to enhance the Poor Man's Rose.
Man I want the Succession War back xD
if they ever find don he probably used post-mortem nen to continue to explore the coast line
If the hunters contacted Chrollo he could’ve borrowed phink’s hatsu, then knov’s and Meleoreon and killed the king with constant charged punches.
This whole fight is basically extremely strong, talented guy with average nen ability vs extremely strong, talented guy with OP *Abilities*.
I dont blame Hisoka for losing at all, he fared better than most people would and hes still probably stronger than everyone in phantom troup.
To put this a bit more in perspective, if Chrollo had those abilities when he fought the Zoldycks, one of them would of ended up dead.
maybe hisoka and camila case is just nen ability that active in particular condition using at least emissions and manipulation.
of course we know in normal condition dead people cant produce aura, but we don't know if separated aura (emission) suddenly vanish after the user die
*normal nen ability
Whats with Kites "rebirth"-ability?
Look up kite explained. It gets complicated.
I wonder what Kurapika's post mortem nen would be, if he has one.
Do you think you could make a video talking about the curses that the kakin princes and princess s I didn't understand
Ah one of the few nb characters who’s equal cute and terrifying, like Kirby
The "strong emotions" that revived Hisoka and Camilla seem to be just their straight up psychopathy. Hisoka is always horny for the next fight to the point of becoming basically a zombie with plastic surgery and Cammilla seems deeply delusional that she's the most important person in the world to the point that she'd even kill herself to further her goal
6:00 umm...Never underestimate hisokas drive to get off, eh?
I really, really like Camila's nen ability concept.
SURVIVAL AT ANY COST EVEN HER OWN LIFE LOL.
That’s what I think when I hear that princess power, pretty strong emotion for winning if your willing to die to win.
Aren't the Ben knives the first hint at post mortem nen?
james benedict yes
Oh shit good point
Big White Duck the knife that chrollo used against Silva when they fought at York New auction, also when I think it was killua or Leorio found the knife at the market place
@Big White Duck nope it just had to be placed before death and only becomes stronger after the user dies i.e. like how hisoka placed bungee gum on his heart
Imagine chrollo getting a hold of the cats nen before she died. Seeing his other post mortem nen it would be amazing. Does chrollo have bungee gum? It just got upgraded if he does.
Chrollo can't have Bungee Gum, because Hisoka still has it and Chrollo steals abilities he doesn't copy them
Mr. Grandline/Newworld, I noticed that HxH content brings in hundreds of thousands of views, while everything else is hit or miss, usually in the 4 digit views. With that said, do you think you’ll ever talk more about Yu Yu Hakusho?
To me, it’s the apex of 90’s anime, and hands down my favorite show. To most, it’s a hidden gem that they looked over, until they find out it’s by the creator of HunterxHunter. I think you, as a well liked influencer, could bring Hakusho some well deserved attention from new fans. 👍🏽
I'm definitely seriously considering branching into some YYH stuff on this channel as well since I do think it's a more natural addition, being Togashi's work and all. I also think it's a very forgotten about classic.
NewWorldReview Oh cool! Sounds great. I’d really like to hear your take on the younger Tugoro. Everyone’s got their own opinion on what his true motivation was.

Off topic:
Wouldn’t it be cool if Hisoka could make bubbles out of bungee gum and have them float around?
I'd like to see a video about the different countries in hunter x hunter. Would be cool
I guess that if Gon ever gets to be able to use nen again, it will have something to do with post-nortem nen
Gon-San being as powerful as Meruem is a mistranslation. She just specified that his "fangs could reach the King". A minor grip, but an important one nonetheless.
The Cat Who Lived A Thousand Times is a real story. Perhaps looking it up will give you some insights into things.
If you are looking for ideas you should talk about 1999 vs 2011
Art style/filler/which you prefer
Extreme indifference could be considered a powerful emotion. I don't care is a very powerful statement within certain context.
I like to think Kurapika’s chains will wrap around his heart and keep it beating until he has killed the troupe
Unlikely.
I think they would 'spawn' near the Troupe Members and attack until it's done.
I think that you should not limit this channel only to Hunter x Hunter content because there is only so much content you can cover for a series that no one knows when it will continue and continues to go on hiatuses. Now I'm not saying you should stop covering Hunter x Hunter content (since it's one of my favourite series) but I think you should consider making videos for general anime audience and not a single franchise. Just a suggestion.
I like this concept but I hope it doesn't become overused, wouldn't be fun to just have every character achieve what they want after they are defeated
Do a video on your favorite manga volume covers :D
*Can you make a what if video please? Like what if Meruem absorbed Pitou, could he have healed from his poisoning?*
It's very likely that Dr. Blythe can do it. Also, this ability will get exponentially boosted once Meruem has it.
