About 10 more minutes in the oven and Nemo's Gill will be a serious problem in tournaments. The way he messed over Akuma was scary. Slippery characters like Fang and Dhalsim, might expose Gill in general.
@@HawkHollywood Yeah, it'll help if timed right. I don't think his parry has much recovery for opponents to punish. Should be interesting though. I'll keep an eye out during other online matches. Still, I think Gill is a semi high risk high reward character in some match ups.
I wonder if they if Gil would be banned in tournaments if the below were done instead? 1) Remove Gils Revenge mechanics and replace it with the ability to Parry while jumping like SF3. 2) Remove his current super, and replaced it with his Resurrection (The one Boss Gil has in SF5).
I was never a fan of 5 so I don't know the tech. But it LOOKS like there's no more crouch teching. If that's true why don't people throw a lot more? With this whole shimmy being a big part of footsies people seem to mainly go for these basic block strings. Yes some people do it purposefully to 'condition' them to get the grab or counter hit but... Maybe I'm wrong or missing something so if anyone wound like to help me, it'd be appreciated 🙏🏾
I feel like pro players are generally a lot better at neutral because: 1.The street fighter pro scene is bigger and more competitive than ever which forces players to get better to stay relevant; 2. Execution in SF5 is a lot less restrictive so you can focus more mental energy on neutral and footsies. Both of these contribute to players being more aware of throws and either teching or punishing with throw invincibles. That's how I see it, I may be very wrong though.
fnshr there is no reward for throws in this game, some do very good stun but the grabs by themselves reset you to neutral, you have mo advantage after a throw (some characters more than others though)
@@danielspencer5908 also you're not wrong but I think the main reason people take the throw in sf5 is because of how devastating counter hit damage is in this game not even counting crush counters.
Nemos gill is the best so far.
RB's Gill is incredible
4:43 wow that rest
Nemo is Japanese not French.
Gills kicks go for miles holy

Gill's parry might help him get past fake FANG pressure though

2:43 nemo won a match against 2nd ranked player and dropped to 1073?! Can anyone explain?
trận chiến nemo và naooonn quá hấp dẫn luô
It would be nice to see ken in some videos that have to do with Street Fighter Champion Edition S5.

@@tomasgaspar8065 Sonicfox is on the opposite end of the spectrum, he's the worst one I've seen so far.

Also, you can tech throws while crouching, if that's what you're asking.

Guriserin wasting bars trying to get it... has a full bar for the kill and does not use it.. LAME
That red bull logo is the definition of why this game is awful
