I’m starting this model, my 1st “big” model. I follow your videos and building advice regularly. When you built this kit did you glue the rear panel (taillight piece) before you primed and painted or did you paint it separately and glue it in place per instructions order? I’m thinking of glueing it before but I want to make sure I don’t have any installation issues when the time comes to install body to chassis.
Bought the kit because of the review. I've was surprised when I finished the engine build to discover that it's a Chevy! I was wondering if there is a corrected Ford engine kit available in 1/16 scale?
Really?! WOW! 😮 a Chevy engine in a 57 T Bird? 😱 I’m a Chevy guy and I wouldn’t want that. I’d want the 312 with the chrome T Bird valve covers that it came with.
Thank you for showing us this. Ill be skipping on this one.. You have doors that open and the pedals are molded in. I could add more but won't.. Keep up the good work.
Great review of what appears to be a great kit. You need to build this one and detail the crap out of it. Maybe do a video that is over an hour. Do your best, and don’t rush anything.

Frame should be separated and wouldn't it be nice to have realistic door hinges,not these toy hinges I have a 58 Buick and 57 olds in 1/16 with nice hinges and separate frame. You do a nice job with thrm

Yeah, I think hers was a 55 but I like the 57 better. That’s the nicest T Bird ever in my opinion.
The trees for those 1/16th scale kits in your adult hands remind me of how the trees for a 1/25th kit looked in my hands as a kid!

I did the 1/8 IROC and the big 1/8 '57 Chevy 3 N 1.
I don't like the vinyl tubing for plug wires because they don't bend. It pulls out too easy.

The engine is definitely a Y block Ford, as it should be! Anyone can see that that's not a small block Chevy V8.
From what I have heard, 1957 was the only year that the T-Bird was sold with the porthole hardtop
