- If you are enjoying the content please like, comment, and subscribe it really helps me out. I purchased the HumminGuru for Christmas. I researched this product well over a year ago and everyone had the same outcome, Get it! What makes my video different is I am reviewing the HumminGuru after I cleaned over 100 records, how I clean my dirty records, and a recommendation if you purchase it.
I am in NO way affiliated or being paid by HumminGuru or any other business in the making of this video. I spent my own money for this product.

I still have vinyl I have been cleaning for 50 years, they are still immacule, we never had all the experts on youtube like you do today, get a decent quality soft brush & wipe them with a cleaner every few years, stand them up & not flat & do not put them near a radiator or window sunlight in the summer heat then store them upright, not flat. Mine play identically like I am still in the 70s, Barry White & others would be proud of the care I took of them, plus I couldnt afford the system then that I have now, I started on a f w woolworths stereo for half a weeks wage to a system that is now half a years wage. What was your first buy lol.do you still have your first vinyls?. I do.
I wish I would have gotten into vinyl in my younger years. I had some singles but cassettes and CD’s were what was popular when I got into music. Good thing you took care of your vinyl.
Great review unlike 99percent of reviewers on here.
One of the few vids on US cleaning that makes sense. 5 minutes should be enough. Just use distilled water, the machine does the work. Pre clean your lps if necessary. I use a vacuum machine that I had to dry the lp and it only takes 5 or 6 revolutions to do the job. Thanks for your thoughtful video.
Thank you for the kind words! HumminGuru is the best purchase I made.
I give you a lot of credit on researching the machine. I have been using a spin clean for years which seems to work though this would be better. It was cheaper than I would have expected.
I absolutely love the machine! If you are ok with the Spin Clean I would stick with it. I wanted something to clean in between the grooves of the record.
Dude...use GrooveWasher G-Sonic UltraSonic Consentrate for some thorough groove cleansing. Accept no substitute! I´ve used the HumminGuru for a couple of hundred of vinyls and to me there ain´t no other cleaning agent that comes close!
The method I’ve been using works great, but if I notice I need to change I will give it a try.
the pre wash is a great way to break up the dirt before the ultrasonic i would add a few minutes of letting it soak first so it can help to break down the grime
The dry cycle time is dependent on the switch setting on the side of the unit. If it’s set to 5 minutes then the auto selection will dry for 5 minutes. If the dry time is set to 10 minutes then the auto selection will dry for 10 minutes.
Thank you for the advice. I will make sure to set it to my preference.
I use mine on all of my records since I got it. Works great. I've had no problems.
I love mine! Glad I purchased it.
Very cool man video man
Thank you my friend!
Would love to hear about your turntable setup!
It is coming soon
You can make an awesome record cleaning solution with a couple drops of Dawn (detergent+surfactant) and Jet Dry (wetting agent). No need to seek out exotic film chemicals when you can just go the drug store. I'd do a drop of Jet Dry in the machine as well to help the bubbles get all the way into the grooves.
I believe surfactant and wetting agent are the same thing.
@@larryhoffman7471 they are not
I saw the thumbnail and thought: "No way, someone bribed Varg Vikernes into doing one of these infomercials!"
don't be a plum.
Doesn’t TergiKleen have a wetting agent in it?
Yes it does
You must use a surfactant in the water
I preclean my records and use a surfactant.
Don't be using Sonic cleaners they can damage your records never clean a record more than twice at five minutes or more please mark it on the record and write on the inner sleeve you've done this for future listeners some people shown if they've cleaned their records five times or more the degraded the quality of the record
I have not heard this information before. Where did you get it? I’m intrigued.
