I believe it would be apostacy to support singers when there are men of God (called of God to preach the Gospel) and I didn't know singers where called of God. Get a Job!!!
You said it right “the day shall come when Clowns entertain the goats” as said by a famous preacher once. Nothing wrong with singing to the Lord but their is plenty wrong when the preaching is canceled due to the “new normal” As stated by the chunky fella who introduced the award winning ensemble of musicians.
I was tempted to say "you're an idiot" - but that temptation has come & gone - as has the validity of your sentiment predicated upon ignorance of both scripture & the person of the Holy Spirit - even if it is a Baptist church ( no disrespect intended ) that is promoting the musical offering ...
