Another great vid rich, Tekno kits are so well made, you can see the quality from a mile off. That body shell is horrendous though!! Hopefully proline or j-concepts can do a better job of it👍🏽
Basher build would be sweet. It's kinda getting a little old seeing everyone go with Arrma, Traxxas or Losi bashers the quality of this tekno puts the others to shame.
This car looks awesome, Tekno definitely know how to make them, there's a lot of quality parts there and looks like they are catering for both bashers and racers. However, that body is trash! That thing fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. LOL. Legal or not, practical or not, it looks like a April fool's joke drawn by a 3yr old. Certainly not something I'd use... Great first look at this Truggy, Rich, and look forward to what you do with it. Why not make it a hybrid? A basher that you can take to the track on the odd occasion or a racer you bash with your friends? Just a thought. 🙂👍

Its a truggy so i think its a basher..but it depends of how fast you make it,i dont know about the width of the car,but it seems very stable tho..as far as color i would choose White and silver scheme..this thing is very desireable as my Arrma typhon 6s in silver”homemade”with Stock red shocks..looking forward to see it assambled!

Unlike Xray, Mugen only offers new models if they have a substantial improvement. Honestly, I would look into what you have part support locally.....as Xray is hard to find in my area (SoCal) vs. Mugen which is about 20 miles from me. Mugen does make solid stuff - I'd trust their platform over Xray.
I don’t think they will. The car is great as is and short course is kind of dying off so it could be a waste of time for them to develop a new car when the current one is perfect.

Race build. If it were any other major race companies truck I don't think you'd even ask which way to build it. They built it to race not bash. That's what the MT410 is for. You can't get a feel for how a race vehicle handles going back and forth In a pit
Everything looks amazing, then you get to that body. Im always a function over form (even irl) but that body is enough for HARD PASS. Body looks like a major afterthought which is a shame when you look at the rest.
They actually put a lot of time into that body. The new trucks originally had a much different body that looked debatably better (it looked like the et410 body) but after months of testing they came to find that this body gave a much better feel for the car. I personally would rather have something that doesn’t look as good and have it outperform everything else.
As for race versus bash as I haven't joined a club to race it would be a bashing RC.. so paint would be creative.. as my last finished build Schumacher cat xls was..

Race! If it is like the EB48 2.0 it won't be as durable as the older Tekno vehicles. Not as well suited for bashing.

I agree on the quality...just look at it on video, it's amazing! The front shock tower has holes for the old body mounts....so the old stuff will work

I honestly love the difference in the body. The front tower has holes for the old body mounts.....so most truggy bodies should fit (ET48.3)

yeah, I have some other plans down the road.....but we will see how the vote goes for race/bash

AE kits are an embarrassment lately with missing parts, QC issues and bad directions, TBH

It's a race truggy sooooo race... I also think because the front shock towers are exposed it may be Susceptible to damage for inexperienced bashers
